"Wait" Virat stepped out of the car as we crossed the road.

"Kha gaya?" Ritsy asked me, I looked into the back seat.

and answered, "No Idea!"

Ritsy was also joining us for the family meet up. Virat came back within 2 minutes with that Starboy smile he has, and with gorgeous two flower bouquet.

As soon as he got into the car, He passed Ritsy one of the bouquets, "I didn't buy it for you haan, Ro told me..." Ritsy cut him in middle.

"Don't lie Virat, I wondered if he ever thought about me." She hissed, looking out of the window as she took the flowers.

"He thinks about you all the time Ritsy" I said, she peered at me, smile a little. That wasn't real Ritsy smile though.

Virat passed me my flowers,
He mouthed thank you.

"And ladies many many congratulations for your new job!!!" Virat exclaimed.

"Thank you!" Me and Ritsy said in unison.

"Thank you for what?" I asked Virat once he started driving, he was all focused on driving, but his lips curve in small smile as I asked.

After a second he looked at me, "You can read that note that's for you only" He pointed towards the little note in flower bouquet. On top of there was written Thank you.

I opened the note, thank you for doing this fast, you don't have any idea how happy Maa is I have never seen her this happy before, she just can't stop talking about YOU you know, she loves you, and. I'm really grateful because you are giving her that love back. Thank you for taking care of Maa, Thank you this one is from Maa she said you make us complete, you make this family complete.

"I have done nothing Virat" I said.

"You don't know Anushka" He smiled softly, "your little efforts means world to us" He added.

And I didn't know what to say further.

As we reached home, Maa quickly called me upstairs, It was already dark and maybe Mom dad and Ro will arrive anytime.

Virat's POV:~

I was preparing dinner for all of us we got home and Ritsy tried to help me little bit as she was getting bored, but after a while Maa called her upstairs too.

Here I am after one half hour, done with preparing dinner but ladies are still upstairs Maa strictly said to me that I'm not allowed up there, and no matter how much I want to go up there... you just don't want to mess with your mother.

Maa is probably getting both of them ready, from the moment Anushka left the house for interview she is going crazy for choosing Anushka's outfit for night. My mother wants to do each and every little thing about this karvachauth. This being our first festival together she wants make us remember this, another reason why she is excited because she wasn't there for our wedding so she is doing all the things to fill that gap.

However her excitement makes me worried sometimes what if by this we are putting so much pressure on Anushka, I know she is so sweet that even if something is bothering her she wouldn't tell. But I love the way how she accepting maa's love for her. To be honest she is more close to her than me, no complain about it though.

I peered at my watch again, 7.55 almost 8 and ladies aren't done.

"Maa kitni der?" I inquired, Ritsy and Maa came down, she has changed in traditional outfit, but Anushka wasn't there. My eye was still fixed on stairs as She didn't came down.
