Anushka checked herself in the mirror once again. Thoughts about her appearance swirled in her mind, but she looked stunning in her black gown.

"Tu jitni baar bhi dekhle, mere se sundar nahi lagegi," Anushka rolled her eyes at Rohit's remark.

"Kabhi to meri tarif karle, mere bhai," Anushka chuckled and walked out of her bedroom to join Rohit.

"Woh mujhse nahi hogi," Rohit exclaimed, throwing his arms up in surrender.

"Why do you seem tense?" Rohit asked Anushka as they got into the car.

"You know the reason," Anushka replied as they settled in.

"You know your boyfriend wouldn't dare say no to your proposal," Rohit said, a devilish grin on his face.

"Yeah, I know," Anushka muttered under her breath.

"Is there something you want to share?" Rohit asked, stealing a glance at Anushka while driving.

"I overheard Mom and Veda Aunty talking on the phone," Anushka sighed.

"What were they discussing?" Rohit inquired.

"About the marriage date," Anushka began, but Rohit interrupted her.

"I had a feeling about this. Why do they want you to get married so soon?" Rohit exclaimed.

"Do you want to know the marriage date?" Anushka asked. Rohit nodded.

"It's in a month, right after you return from West Indies," Anushka revealed, gazing out of the car window.

"You didn't plan on getting married this soon?" Rohit's tone softened as he noticed his sister's distress.

"It's not about that, but they should have at least consulted me and Avi. I have no idea about this marriage and proposal," Anushka explained, and Rohit hummed in response.

"Besides, you won't be here with me either. I'm going to miss you, Ro," Anushka whispered.

"Itani jaldi Tera picha nahi choduga don't worry " Rohit assured her.

"You can't take even emotional matters seriously, can you?" Anushka smiled faintly.

"Your emotional matters are safe with me too," Rohit grinned.

"Thank you for this," Anushka handed him a good luck bracelet. She always made one for him before his tournaments.

"I thought you'd forget amidst all the proposal chaos," Rohit chuckled.

"I love Avi, but that doesn't mean I love you any less," Anushka expressed.

"I know you love me. Just don't forget to love yourself," Rohit advised.

"I won't," Anushka reassured him.

"We've arrived!" Rohit announced as they reached Avi's home for his birthday celebration.

As they walked into garden they came across Virat.

"You look gorgeous Anushka" Virat said as Rohit and Anushka came to him.

"Learn something from your best friend this is how you compliment someone" Anushka complained his brother.

"Mujse aesi umid nahi rakh to acha hai" Rohit laughed, but he just stopped in middle as his eyes fell on Ritika.

"OH MY GOD!" He exclaimed, and went to Ritika.

"And here it begins!" Anushka chuckled.

"Obviously, he is fangirling over him since they went on their first date." Virat laughed along with her.
