Exit from Milky-way

"What is outside Earth? Aliens? Is there a lifestyle like ours ? Maybe a galaxy like the Milky Way or planets like Earth ? These questions are still up in the air in spite of great developments by humans . These days movies and comics are showing different types of alien stories which makes it difficult to acknowledge one. Everyone has their own thoughts and different stories on life outside earth. Flora sometimes thinks that even our earth got its environment naturally and firstly there was nothing but a piece of land and water bodies , then life grew and slowly we humans evolved out of monkeys then why not there can be another planet and people like us might have evolved from such similar species or .... , 'Okay let's stop it now isn't it boring for you to think so much everyday about something so fictitious', shouted her roommate Riya while Flora was lost in her own world.

 "What can I do? This is for my new project and I have to gather all sorts of material for it, which means I'm not going to stop at least for a week .",said Flora with a smile. 

Flora is an extrovert and creative girl with an enthusiasm to always go forward in her life without the tension of the future. She doesn't get discouraged with any problems in her life and instead faces them and tackles them in an efficient way. Earlier she was not aware of her future plans but since childhood she was fascinated with life outside the Earth, aliens and the universe. But soon a child's dream becomes an adult's passion. She gets more and more into this but to some extent people around her always shattered her dreams by mocking her by saying that there is nothing you can explore about outer space, like you will not get some special powers or invitations from the other world. She always wanted to do something which can help her to show people what it really means to explore another world and soon she decided to be a director. Her college is going to organise a competition for aspiring directors and writers to showcase their talents in front of famous directors which might give her a chance to write a script for a next hit sci-fi drama. Flora is a media student which gives her the opportunity to explore new things and travel around and know more about things related to the universe, galaxies, planets and many more things but deep down she also knows it very well that it's absolutely impossible to see that at least in this life. But maybe the author has some different plans for her.

Currently she is living in the hostel with her roommate Riya who is the senior of her in the college and are good friends. Riya knows about the space love of her roommate and she never discouraged her in fact she always appreciates her ideas of thoughts but only to one extent because as a senior she doesn't want to misguide her junior in choosing a good lifestyle. One day in the break time both the roommates go to the library . "You look really fed up! Are things not going well with your story?" Riya asked Flora after she noticed her face full of confusion. "Yes, I am fed up!! Gosh I didn't think that writing a story would be this perplexing. I might be unqualified for this". "You are a more than qualified girl, don't think like this and don't get me wrong but how can you write about lifestyle outside earth? like you don't even know about any other planet except earth let alone the galaxies.

"what's that supposed to mean" asked Flora

"What?"

"Repeat your words"

"You are more than qualified girl"

"No not this , your last words you said I don't even know about planets except earth?" questioned Flora.

"So what do you mean by that?", asked Riya with suspicion.

"I know all the other planets like Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and....

Riya stands, picks up her bag and starts to walk away but Flora holds her saying where are you going? I can name all the planets in the milky-way. You should witness my great knowledge about outer space. Riya shook off her hand and said you are mad, not me. I am going to complete my assignments and as a good friend I suggest you come to reality and complete your assignments too. Most importantly stop with your exploring universe bullshit because with your knowledge about the Milky-way will only help you to make a nursery documentary with the title "My planets".

"but I really want to make a movie on outer space", said Flora with her shining eyes showing her desire to do it.

"I wish there is some way for you to achieve your dream...." Riya explained to her but her phone rings and she sees the time and tells Flora that she is getting late and they will discuss this matter later.

Flora starts scrolling her phone and a notification drops and she accidently clicks on it. She reached a website where it shows an invitation to a visit to the center universe. She was already in a frustrated mood and thought here's the invitation from another world, so she accepted it and got the address. Later she picked all the books and went back to her hostel. At night when Riya came back to the room and saw Flora doing some work.

"Flora actually in the library today, I didn't mean what I said to you, actually I just want you to have a bright future and instead of explaining it properly I lose my calm on you. I'm really sorry for that. I hope you won't get upset over it...." while Riya was apologizing, Flora cut her in between and said that tomorrow is the weekend so we both will go out for fun and what you are talking about I really don't remember that much and why would I mind my one and only well wisher.

"See I bring some snacks, let's eat together", said Riya with a smile.

Flora thought that if she told her about that invitation then she would scold her for being scammed but we can go there by chance. Next Day they both dressed up well and Riya asked her where she wanted to go first. Now here's the chance for Flora and she took her to the mall which is mentioned in the invitation. When they reached there, Flora asked Riya to do some shopping as she knew that Riya is a shopaholic and when she gets busy then in the meantime Flora can go to that invitation camp. As per planned Riya got busy and Flora sneaked from there. She saw that invitation message again for floor number and to her surprise it shows the 10th floor but as far she knows that mall is newly inaugurated and still under construction with only 8 floors yet. She was in a dilemma and thought that maybe it's some mistake so she decided to go on the 8th floor and she entered the elevator. But to her surprise that elevator actually had a button for the 10th floor!! She pressed it and within minutes she was standing on the 10th floor of the mall.

There were arrows indicating the direction of the centre universe. She followed the signs and reached a door and knocked on it twice but no one answered it. She is about to open the door but something clicks her mind and she turns back and to her shock there was no way back except for darkness. She was scared for a second and pinched herself to see if it's a dream but that's not. At last she decided to go in and she opened the door. When she entered the room there was nothing except for a big screen. She shouted "Is anyone here? I got the invitation yesterday for a visit to the centre universe."

"Hello Flora , I am the connection between the universes and I invited you to be a very important part of a mission to save the universe. You can call me chief.", said a voice on the screen.

"Wh-what mission and what do you mean by saving the universe, I can't even protect myself from my angry mom then how can you think of me as saving the universe. I think you got the wrong person.", said Flora

Suddenly a table came up with a glass ball type thing on the top and the voice said "you are right or wrong will be determined soon but before that can you please hold this glass orb."

Flora was already confused so she just did what the voice said and picked the orb and when she lifted it then she saw that there was some green leafy figure with some black clouds in that glass orb and the voice reacted about it.

"Indeed you are the selected one, the real highness, the one who can manage these powers. Congratulations and welcome to the centre universe Our Highness".

And then the magical orb turns into a pearl necklace around her neck.
