Defending Love !

Chapter  - 10

The next day, she ordered Mr. Blurry to not send food to his room as she wants that person to come and eat there. When Dark didn't get his food on time he shouted for servants but because of Flora's order, no one went to him. He comes out of his room, Mr. Blurry came towards him and told him that the Highness ordered them to not bring him food as she wanted him to eat within the dining area. He went to the dining area and found her waiting for him. He came towards her and with an annoyed face asked him "What did you order and how dare you order them?". "What do you want me to answer first, what or how?", replied Flora politely. Before he could say anything she pulled the chair for him and pushed him on it and told him to eat here only till the time she is here. She signed servants to serve him, and they both started eating. She asked him if he had any hobbies or did he also research on Earth. "Don't tell me you studied Hematology", she reacts, to which he asked her to be quiet as he is not habitual of noise while eating. She gives him a look and responds "Oh, okay". After finishing their food, she quickly stands before him, and about to leave, he tells her "I don't have any hobbies and I hate the sight of blood. I did my research on law and defence to protect people...", she cut him off and said "protect from you?". He looked at her "You.." and she ran away.

She was laying on her bed in her room thinking about King Leo "Did he again become a cold person? I hope he doesn't go to that underwater adobe and gets emotional all alone". Meanwhile, he was actually in the adobe sitting and missing her, looking at the chair she sat in and looking at his hand imagining holding her hands. Both of them were missing each other, the only difference is that Leo knows his feelings but Flora is still unaware of them. They both were looking at their wristbands and thinking about the dance they did together. Flora smiles and Leo cries.

Mr. Blurry comes and knocks on her door, she gets up and tells him to come in. He told her that King Dark is calling her on the terrace. She thought that he would scare her with ghosts again so she refused to go. Later, he came to her room and said "Didn't you get my message or do you need me to come and call you personally every time?". Flora didn't even bother to get up this time and replied to him "I'm not in the mood to play with you and your ghosts". He replied "Ghosts? What ghosts? I called you to teach you how to use your powers". Listening to this, she quickly stood up and said he should have sent the message properly otherwise how can she know the reason? He said that now she knows, so let's go. 

They both stand in front of each other on the terrace and he throws the power-blocker band on her hand. She reacts "Again? Aren't we here to practice my power, then without powers how I'm supposed to practice?". He told her to just wait and watch, he tried to attack her with his powers and she closed her eyes in shock. When she feels nothing, she opens her eyes and sees that a shield of air is blocking his attack and protecting her. "What's this?", comes out of her mouth as she was surprised. "This is the power of nature", he further continued "From the way I observe, you only use your power to attack but you can use your powers as your defence as well". She was surprised as because of that band her powers are blocked then how did this happen? He clarifies to her that nature knows when to be her weapon or shield, she just needs to be confident in herself and show nature that she needs its defence too. "Then how am I supposed to gain that confidence?", questioned Flora to which he replied that first try to meditate and then encounter some circumstances to test herself. 

Now, she has started to meditate day and night but it's not that easy as half of the time she falls asleep. He helps her to meditate but seeing her falling asleep again and again he tries to change the place for meditation. They meditate in the garden, main hall, and even on the terrace but every time when she closes her eyes and relaxes for a minute, she gets into sleep and he shouted every time to wake her up to which she gets irritated on him, scolds him, and leaves from there. 

Now, he thinks of a plan to stop her sleep and at night takes her to Dead Farm and hides from her. When she found herself alone in the darkness, she shouted "D-Dark, where are you? Dark?", but got no reply. She feels something is behind her, so she quickly turns back but finds no one. Something moves her hair and she gets scared and sits down in fear and covers her face with her hands. Suddenly someone put their hand on her shoulder and she was so afraid that without even looking up, she joined her hands and started to shout "do-don't k-kill me please. I am still young to become a ghost, spare me. I didn't want to die here, nobody will do my last rites, I will become a roaming ghost then...". "Don't worry I will do it for you", she looked up and found Dark standing. She stands up and he thought she would beat him now but to his surprise, she hugged him and burst into tears saying "Where were you? I was so scared and there are ghosts here trying to kill me..".

Two ghosts hiding in the bushes talk with each other. "Why is she crying like this, when we did nothing?""Maybe she doesn't know that even if we try to touch her, King Dark will make us disappear forever","We did nothing but what if the king misunderstands us, let's leave before he comes at us","Yes yes let's go", and they both disappear.  

Though Dark planned to make her understand the importance of defending herself, seeing her crying like this makes his heart melt and he pats her head and apologizes to her for doing this, and assures her that she is safe now. That was the time when he felt the need to protect someone. 

The next day, Flora started to practice her meditation seriously but now he faced the problem of meditating as all his focus is on her and whenever he looks at her, he remembers that hug and her crying face. He feels like she is the one whom he can't let cry. Within two days, she practiced hard and mastered the art of defence. She told him to put that band on her again and she will test her powers, he did the same but when it was time to attack her, he suddenly stopped. She asked him what happened, and why he stopped. He doesn't know why he stopped but somehow his heart doesn't let him attack her. He told her that she can ask anyone else, he is busy with some work and left. She got confused as he is the one who always tries to attack her and now she gives the chance herself, he left like this. "Indeed these kings are strange", she said.

When she was going down she saw the same servants at whom dark shouted. She stopped them, they greeted her and she asked if they were okay and told them to not mind Dark's behaviour. She defends him saying though he is a little rude person he might not be that bad. Both the servants looked at each other in confusion and asked her if she got any wrong idea about what happened that day. She asked, "What do you mean? Isn't he shouting at you that day?". They smiled and told her that she misunderstood King Dark as that day they were shifting some hot soup, got imbalanced, and were about to burn themselves but it was King Dark who saved them and scolded us to be careful as it may be dangerous for us. We all respect him as our King and are aware of the fact that nobody will think of us more than him, he always protects us and sometimes we thought that he researched law and defence on Earth just to protect his people. She was surprised but also happy that his people don't hate him. Servants greeted her and took their leave.She thinks maybe this is what the soft-hearted nature chief told her. She goes to her room and found Mr. Blurry waiting for her outside. She asked him the reason and he replied that he wants her to help to convince King Dark to go to the royal meeting. She said that if this meeting concerns Shadow Galaxy. He nodded to which she told him to talk with Dark directly as if this is the matter of the galaxy then he will not refuse to go and even if he denies him then there is no chance he will agree with her. Mr. Blurry told her that this royal meeting is between Bright Galaxy and Dark Galaxy, which means royal people of both sides will gather and talk with each other on matters related to galaxies. She thought it was a good chance to unite the elder brothers first, so she agreed to talk with Dark.
