Chapter - 8

When they were dancing, Leo exchanged their wristbands and when she looked at him he pretended to fix his tie to show the silver wristband on his hand. He smirks, she was shocked and doubtful about him being in love with her which is prohibited by the chief. She excused herself from others and pulled Mr.John in the corner and asked him about the changed behaviour of Leo. His reply leaves her in more confusion. He said, "It's the completion of the 2nd stage, just wait and he will tell you about this himself". Meanwhile, Leo talked with Mate and told her that he doesn't want to mislead her about any things but she offers him a glass of water to relax as she is already aware that he likes Highness. "Is it that obvious?", he reacts, Mate nodded. He gets shy and drinks water and looks at flora. 

Princess Mate invites Leo and Flora for dinner. There were varieties of dishes on the table attracting flora's eyes. Servants start to serve and everyone begin to eat. Flora wanted to eat but she was in a dilemma about the ingredients of the dishes, Leo noticed her and asked Mate "The food is amazing, but is it plant-based?". "Yes of course King. Nothing here is non-veg as we know how much you love animals, we can't risk offending you" Mate reacts generously. "By the way did you use royal peanuts?" questioned Leo. "Not in everything, just in this cake and cookie", answered Mate. Now Flora is certain about what to eat, she begins to eat and enjoys her food. Leo gazed at her with a pleasing smile. 

After dinner, Leo and Flora take their leave with lots of gifts given by Princess Mate. This time she signed both of them best of luck. Flora didn't get it but saw Leo smiling and got more suspicious. On their way back she was thinking about how to talk with him regarding this and Leo was thinking of every way possible to avoid her as he knows that she gets an idea about his feelings. They landed on the royal palace terrace and as soon as they got out of the aircraft, Flora told Leo that she wanted to talk with him. As expected Leo tries to avoid her and says "In the morning, right now I am tired". Before she could say anything else he quickly reacts "See your orb is shining, the chief is calling you" and runs away. She holds her necklace and reaches that dark room and says "Your timing is really bad. Anyways, what happened? Why did you call me back?". The chief told her that her next mission is coming soon, and maybe some things will surprise her. So she needs to be informed about it. He further told her "Keep calm and follow your inner thoughts and don't let anything divert you from your target". Flora asked "What type of mission?", chief responds that he will tell her at the right time. The next day, when she comes down to talk with him, she finds out that he has already left for some work and is not in the palace. The whole day she waited for him in the main hall as it's important to talk with him and fell asleep on the sofa. When he came back he found her sleeping there, came towards her, and murmured "You are eager to know about my feelings. Don't worry tomorrow you will get your answer". He lifts her, escorts her to her room, and kisses her forehead. Leo informed Mr. John about the 3rd stage that "maybe now I can accept the fact that I do love her". The next day, he informed the servants to make the best breakfast ever and to arrange the best clothes for Flora. She came down and once again Leo got mesmerized by her beauty and said "so this is what love feels like!". When they sat down for lunch, he pulled her chair and then offered her food himself. Not only this, but he also asked her what she likes or dislikes about the palace; she can change it to her liking. She got confused by his sudden change of heart. She told him that she wants to talk with him to which he replied that he also has something to tell her first but not here. 

He took her outside, and a car was waiting for them. They get in the car and she reacts "You even have cars here?" he replied don't you know we do our research on earth, so whatever things we find useful there; we bring them here. "And what if you like a human?" asked Flora in jest. Leo took the chance and said with a smirk "That human is already here". "Wh-what!!" reacts Flora and he asks her to fasten her seatbelt. 

He was driving her to the biggest ocean on the Bright planet and stopped his car. He told her to sit tight as it was time to dive. "Wh-what ! Dive?" she was thinking about what he just said, he pulled the windows up, started the car and dived into the ocean. She screamed, closed her eyes, and grabbed his hand. He ensures her that she can open her eyes as this is not a normal car, it can dive and fly. They don't copy the technology of Earth, they just take an idea and modify it as per our requirements. She held him tightly as she was scared and told him that she has thalassophobia and can't open her eyes in fear. He held her hand and said, "I can guarantee that you have never been to the depths of the ocean and because of your imagination, you are scared. Believe me the view is exquisite, so open your eyes and look at it". She slowly opened her eyes and for the first time, she saw underwater life. Full of colourful fishes and other sea animals, the sound of ocean attracts her. She is unaware that when her focus is on the beauty of the sea, someone was focusing on her beauty with a deep look. She leaves his hand, though he wants to hold it longer and maybe nature wants the same. Suddenly, a group of sharks swims from there and she gets scared and holds his hand again, he smiles and holds it tight as now he will not leave it. 

He took her to an underwater house and told her that it was his adobe and she was the first one who knows about it. "Are you going to kill me?" popped Flora unexpectedly. "What? And why do you suddenly think of it?" asked Leo. "As you said only I know about it, that means I know your secret and now you will kill me", responds Flora. Leo laughed and said "Maybe". She gazes at him and responds "You can't kill me, my powers are stronger than you", and smirks. They entered the house and from inside it looked like any ordinary house, Leo made her sit on a rest chair and clapped his hands and the lights got dim and made the house transparent. Now they both were enjoying the oceanic wonders. He started talking with her and said "After so long I am with someone with whom I can share my moments. Earlier when I got tired of being a royal person, I used to visit the Glass Palace of the Andromeda galaxy with my brothers. We used to spend a wonderful time, leaving all our worries. They used to say that they admire me and when they will become a king, they will come to me for help as it's difficult to manage a realm alone. But I leave them alone when they need me the most. When I was enjoying my life on Earth, they were all alone maintaining their galaxies and the pressure of being the kings, as their elder brother leaves them alone. After that I created this adobe and come here whenever I miss them".

 She looked at him being emotional and put her hand on his hand and said "I heard you completed 10 years of research on earth for a doctor and I'm aware that being in this field you can't enjoy your life when you want to be the great doctor of the universe. So don't be under this guilt and I don't think your brothers also hate you for this. Did they ever say anything?" Leo smiled sadly and answered her "They didn't get the chance to say anything as we didn't meet or talk after I came back. Maybe because I can't get to them because of my guilt and they didn't approach me as they don't want me anymore". "Maybe they are still waiting for you to call them back", assures Flora. 

They come back to the palace, he helps her get out of the car. Mr. John comes running towards them and informed Leo that King Dark is here and waiting for Highness. "Who did you say is here?" Leo was surprised with his brother's sudden arrival. Flora asked, "Who is King Dark?". Mr. John replied, "he is the second elder brother of the royal family and the King of Shadow Galaxy".
