Chapter - 5

Flora gains consciousness and slowly opens her eyes and finds herself in her room with a drip attached to her hand and a lady sponging her hands with a wet towel. Mr. John entered the room and bowed to her to forgive them for the incident. "Your Highness, we are extremely ashamed of what happened. I ordered the royal kitchen to stop using royal peanuts in any of the dishes." Flora tries to sit, the lady helps her. "I know it's not intentional and it should be me to apologize. I should have told you earlier about my allergy but I didn't expect it to be this severe. You don't need to be ashamed of anything", reacts Flora. "It's good all that happens in the presence of the king, otherwise it will be difficult for royal doctors to treat you as we don't even know from where you come..", said the lady while adjusting her blanket. "I am from Ea...", Flora was about to tell them she was an earthling but King Leo interrupted in between saying "Did you forget she is the Highness of Andromeda galaxy? Both of you can leave. I will take care of her". Flora immediately reacts "NO!, the lady will take care of me. I don't want you and me to be alone. Who knows you will take this chance to kill me." Leo came forwards, took the towel from the lady's hand and held Flora's hand and while sponging said, "you think I need such a chance to kill you?" "Your Highness, it was King Leo who saved you. I guess you don't know he is one of the best doctors in the 3 universes and he even completed the most difficult part of being qualified as a universal doctor, which is to complete 10 years of research on earth.", said the lady. King Leo sarcastically replied "you are bragging, lady Inn. it's just my hobby and nothing else". Mr. John said "We should leave now highness", they both greeted them and left the room. "Listen, for the safety of the Earth, you are not allowed to reveal your planet to anyone. Take this drip and in the morning you will be fine.", clarified King Leo."so you are a doctor. Anyways thanks for saving my life as a hobby.", Flora said gratefully. "I don't want you to die by just eating royal peanuts", Leo said sarcastically again. He continued, "We can talk in the morning about the thing you mentioned earlier". "what thing?", questioned Flora. "About knowing each other...", replied Leo. "Oh that, you remember that? I thought you don't want to be acquainted with me", Flora said to Leo in a teasing way. Leo responds, "I never said that I don't want to, it's just you who fainted in between and...". Flora interrupted him and said, "Okay okay we will talk about this in the morning. Now I need to sleep". She lies down and he adjusts her drip and leaves the room. She later thinks that he is not as bad as she thought, it's just that he forgot how to care about other's feelings after being alone for so long. In the morning, she woke up and was feeling completely in a new spirit. Mr. John and the lady enter the room, greets her and ask her if she is feeling okay now, and tell her to freshen up as King Leo is waiting for her. Flora gets up and thinks "I just wasted a day here lying on the bed. Now I will quickly take action to make this King feel alone". "Highness?", said the lady when Flora was in her thoughts. "yes, yes I got it. I will come in a bit.", responded Flora. Both Flora and Leo were sitting in the main hall. "We can start. I will ask one question and you can choose to either answer it or not.", said Flora."Are you interrogating a criminal?", questioned Leo."No, actually I liked law dramas that's why I said it like that", Flora responds. She continued and asked him about what all he knows about her as she wanted to know exactly how much she needs to hide from him. He replied that he only knows that the chief wanted her to be the Highness of the Andromeda galaxy and she owns the power of nature. She quickly asked, "You already know about my powers?". He nodded. She continued saying, "Then do you know my powers are stronger than you?". He again nodded and said, "Of course, if someone is chosen to rule over Andromeda galaxy then they must have great powers". Flora then surprisingly asked, "If you knew this then also you dare to offend me?" He smiled and said, "Even though you had such great powers, you are still unknown to them. That's why the chief gives me the duty to help you in controlling these powers. didn't he tell you this?" she knows the real reason but can't tell him, so she quickly replied, "yeah I remember it, how can I not know the reason"."By the way, do you have a family? or any relatives or someone close?", questioned Flora in a hesitation. She already knew that he won't answer it but still, she needs to try."It's better to talk about teaching you to control your powers", Leo ignored her question as expected. Leo took her to the terrace near the swimming pool and said, "See the power of nature means you can use each element of nature as your weapon or shield. First, we will start with water. You need to control it, so try to bring it up." Flora tries to do the same gestures she saw him doing when he uses his powers on her but nothing happens and the water remains stable. "You need to concentrate a little bit", said Leo. She tried again but fails every time. She looks at her hands and reacts "Do I have powers or not? Why are they not working". Leo responds by saying that it requires some time to learn powers and once she gets successful with water then she can automatically get successful in controlling fire as well. Mr. John came and bowed to them and reminded Leo of some royal paper works which he needs to check. Leo told Flora to keep practicing and he leaves. Now Flora started her practice but every time in vain. at last, she gets tired and sits there and swings her hand in rage and suddenly some movement happens in the water. She got really surprised and tried again and this time she was successfully able to lift water. She jumps from excitement and quickly runs to Leo to show him. He was in his room, busy with some work and discussing things with Mr. John. She got there and shouted all elevated "I DID IT! I DID IT!". "What happen and why are you shouting?", asked Leo. Flora held his hand and replied " I won't tell you, instead I will show you. Come with me." He said that he can't come right now as he is busy, to which Flora said "No problem I will show you here only. I just need some water." Mr. John brings her a glass of water and Flora told both of them to pay attention as she is going to start. She gathers her all focus on that glass of water and with her full ability tries to move the water but this time it didn't happen. She tried again but nothing happened. She got confused with this and wondered that her magic worked earlier, so why is it not happening now? King Leo asked her to relax and practice more as it is not easy to learn it. she leaves the room devastated and when she is gone, Mr. John asked Leo, "Why did you not let her show her powers?" "what did I do?", said Leo. "you can't hide it from me, King. I'm your main assistant, who has assisted you since you were a prince. I can see how you were holding that water with your powers so that Highness won't be able to move it.", replied Mr. John. "you are eagle-eyed, Mr. John. I can't hide things from you now.", Leo praised him. He further said that if Flora gets to know that she already mastered the powers in such a short period then she can be over-confident and won't practice anymore. that's why I didn't let her perform the trick. Now because of getting failed, Flora started practicing and every time she tries to show it to Leo, he did the same thing and don't let her know that she already mastered it. things go like this for an entire day and at last both Flora and Leo got tired because of too much use of their powers and went to sleep. The next day, Flora and Leo were having breakfast. The servant was bringing juice to Leo and suddenly trips over and the juice was about to fall on Leo. Flora immediately uses her powers and manages to transfer the juice into the glass. At that moment, everyone was surprised and especially Flora and she looked to Leo.
