Dark's Confession

Chapter - 22

She was surprised by his sudden confession and lost her words. She somehow gathered her senses and asked "Wh-what? why?"

"I like you. You are my first love, the day you hugged me while crying I just fell for you as I can't see you crying again". She was stunned to reply and didn't know how to reply but before she could say anything he told her to not get worried as she told him to propose his first love to give it up and he just did that. She told him that he is a good friend to her, even best friend but....he cut her in between, held her hands and told her that he is not at all upset but rather feel relieved. He knows that she loves Leo as he can see it in both Leo and her eyes.

She put her hand on his shoulder and told him that she will make sure to bring Lucy back to him. He pulled her closer and hugged her, she got surprised and tried to get away but he hugged her tight and said "Just stay like this for a minute, I want to end my first love the way it started".

She gently pats his back, she senses that he is crying. He then wipes his tears and asks her if the crashing of marriage is still possible. She winks him back and declares that everything is possible.

They both got in disguise as servants and went to Bert Planet earlier then the wedding time, Mr Blurry and Neil helped them to get in. When they get in, Flora told him that she will first go to Lucy and he will go to the groom's room and make sure that he won't come out of the room today. He told her to be careful and they went in opposite directions.

When she found her room, she saw maids coming out of her room. She sneaks in and Lucy hits her head with a vase thinking that she was a maid. She gets unconscious and when Lucy turns to her she is shocked to see Flora. She was very tense as now she can't even call for help because of the Highness's safety. She tries to lift her and somehow manages to put her to bed. Someone knocked on her door and told her that they brought her accessories. She got tense and told them to leave things outside and go. She opens the door slowly and takes in the things. She sprinkled some water on her face but Flora was still unconscious. She was about to cry but suddenly Flora's watch beeps. Lucy saw a message from King Dark that he warned the groom to not marry Lucy.

She was confused but without thinking, replied and called him in her room. When Dark came to her door, she slowly opened the door and let him in. She hugged him and started crying. He asked her what happened and why is she crying like this.

"I-I attacked Highness", said Lucy while crying. He got shocked and saw her in bed. He quickly goes to her and tries to wake her up and asks Lucy what happened here.

"I thought that I would knock down a maid and change clothes with her and run away from this marriage but I don't know that Highness will be here as a maid", she explained. She started to cry again and he told her not to cry as he will try to do something, suddenly Flora pulled his hand and winked at him. He saw that she was acting and was relieved. He asked Lucy to not cry as Flora will be fine. She told him that if her father didn't force her to marry then she wouldn't do all this.

"Don't worry I will help you to escape"

"But Highness is still unconscious..."

"Let's go guys, it's time to escape", Flora gets up from bed and Lucy gets shocked. She asked her if she is okay, and Flora replied that because of her training, she is quick to defend herself so she was not hurt. Dark told them to leave but Flora stopped him and said that first do one thing. She left the room and told them that she will guard the room for them, but be quick.

Lucy was confused but Dark held her hand and asked her if she still loves him and even if she doesn't then he will try his best to make her fall for him. She gets elevated and jumps on him. She told him that she was waiting for his words for so long and now he finally said it. He told her that someone puts courage in me otherwise I would be regretting not confessing. She kissed him on the cheek, he pressed her onto the bed and they shared a kiss. Flora saw someone was coming so she quickly went into the room to inform them but saw them and turned away.

"So-sorry, I-I just want to tell you that someone is coming so we should leave first", said Flora.

"How will we leave? The full planet is guarded", said Lucy worriedly.

Flora looked at her and told her not to worry as things are all planned. Someone knocked on the door, Lucy and Dark got tensed but Flora said that there comes the plan. Neil was outside with some clothes, Flora took them and gave them to Lucy to change as they will leave in disguise.

They come out of the room dressed as servants and Flora tells them to go to the terrace as Neil is ready with the aircraft. They were about to leave but suddenly her father stopped them and asked the servant to come with him. They were worried but Flora signed them to leave first. Dark told her to come with them but she insisted them to leave first.

They left and waited for her in the aircraft. On the other hand, Flora got caught in the act and was tied with chains in the king's assembly. She gets to know why Leo told her not to meet with people as not everyone knows that she is the Highness.

"Where is Princess Lucy?" shouted Bert King at Flora and she was just ignoring him to make time for Dark and Lucy to escape but to her shock, Dark came from back and broke her chains with his powers. Everyone was shocked by his entry and bowed to him. Flora is so done with him and asks him in a lower tone why he didn't leave. He told her that he can't leave her and being a King of Shadow Galaxy, why would he sneak away when he can take his love in front of everyone. She is so done with his narcissism and smiles. Lucy also came back and told his father that she loves Dark and will only marry him. Bert King scolds her for being insolent in front of the king of the galaxy.

"She is not referring to the king of the galaxy but to her boyfriend", said Flora and Bert King yelled at her to not speak nonsense as a low maid.

"Please be respectful, she is the Highness of Andromeda Galaxy", said Dark.

Everyone was shocked and immediately bowed to her. King Bert quickly apologises to her for his rude behaviour.

"I am not against their wedding but how my daughter will mingle with the royal family lifestyle", said Bert King in a concerned manner.

"She doesn't need to mingle with us, she just needs to be herself", replied Dark. He further said that he loves her and will make sure that she will not be short of anything under his care.

"I can guarantee. If he ever makes her cry then I will be the first to scold him", said Flora. Bert King announced to cancel the wedding and agreed them to be together. He further asked Highness to forget his rude behaviour as he was not aware of her identity. She assured him that she didn't mind his words and that it was his pleasure to allow his daughter to marry her love.

They come back to Shadow Galaxy and Flora told them that she needs to go back, both Dark and Lucy insist her to stay here more but she doesn't want to be a third wheel here so she leaves. Dark held Lucy's hand and was sitting in the main hall. She was happy with him and told him that the Highness is so good to them and they should pay back to her in future. He asked her what Flora whispered to her on the day of the royal meeting, she smiled and said that maybe Flora cares about him as she told her to always take care of him and never let him be sad. Dark smiled and thought that she might deserves someone better. They both looked at each other, came closer and shared a kiss. Cupid hits another bull's eye.
