Chapter five-

Thomas's POV
Journal, hey..it's me again.

So Newt just kinda stormed off.

Don't ask me why, well we talked about his cuts and stuff...it was almost like he just realized what he was doing and snapped back.

No matter what he left.

Newt's POV

"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god" I chanted.

I had just freaking come clean about my damn life to a knots stranger!

My phone buzzed.

Tommy: Newt? Are you okay?

No way I was answering that. I didn't even really understand what was happening. I just felt like we should have known each other longer before all..this.

"Look who's an open book. I just fricken explained everything to Tommy!" I criticized my decisions as I stared into the mirror.

Of course I wasn't happy with who I saw staring back.

"Perfect..? Yeah, right Tommy." I mumbled, looking at my battered and bruised body.

"He said it so he wouldn't feel guilty." I convinced myself.

"Don't worry Tommy, I won't be a burden for you-for anyone." I said, eyeing myself down in the mirror.

"I'm not good enough for him." I whispered as I opened a drawer, pulling out a razor blade.

"I'm not good enough for anyone."

The next day at school Newt wasn't in their first class together.

Thomas had taken out his phone immediately to text Newt.

Thomas:Where are you??

He sighed as he dropped the phone back into his pocket and walked towards his next class.

"Where are you, Newt?"

Newts POV
I didn't go to school.

I had packed up a bag to run away but soon realized how stupid the idea was and just gave up.

Tommy had texted me but I didn't answer. I knew that he was happy that I wasn't answering. He only texted me so he didn't feel guilty.

I stare down at my wrist, fresh slashes were still slightly dripping with blood.

"I was 2 months clean..almost three." I mumbled to myself as a few tears fell.
