"Hey, you okay?" Jisung frowned as I walked into the dance room. I nodded, lazily walking over and laying on the cold floor."That hangover still kicking your ass?" He lightly chuckled. I groaned as a response, hiding my face in my arms. "Yeah, how much did I drink last night?"
Without thought he blurted. "Six shots. Yuriko had seven and Hyunjin had eight. You guys weren't to bad to get home but I couldn't deal with him so he crashed with me."
I giggled, sitting up and looking at the boy. I looked down to his lips, suddenly getting a flashback from last night. I sighed. "I'm sorry that I uh- kissed you. I shouldn't have had that much to drink."
He smiled, pressing his lips into a smile. "Don't worry, it was cute. I'd kiss you again if I could."
"Yah." I punched his shoulder as he acted nonchalant, resting his arms on his knees.
"What? It's not a joke. I'll just wait until you are ready. Anyway, did you have fun yesterday?"
I playfully glared at him, my eyes growing in size as he leaned in. He stopped just a few inches away, tilting his head to the side. "You seemed quite happy when you got home."
I frowned, unsure of what he meant. My memory from the night before was extremely foggy, so no matter how hard I thought, I drew a blank.
He shook his head, backing away. "Don't worry about it."
"I did have fun.. I feel bad for all the money you spent though.."
He let out another chuckle, turning his body to face me. "That reminds me, I forgot to tell you. My mom is the owner of that big restaurant overlooking the city and my dad owns the bar we went to. Hyunjin gets a deal at both so his original plans never changed, I just decided to tag along."
Wow, no wonder mom likes him
"Why did you decide to do all that? Meeting and talking to my mom and dad, even somehow making him change my curfew.. my mom seems to really like you.." I trailed off.
He reached over to hold my hand, smiling with red cheeks. "Because I like you, Moriko. I heard from Yuriko how strict your parents are and what they expect of you, so not only did I want to make a good impression, I wanted to show you that I was serious."
My face grew extremely hot. He caressed the back of my hand, lifting it up to hold it in both of his. "I don't want you to feel pressured, so take your time to figure out how you feel."
"I-i uh-" I stuttered, looking to the ground. He let out a small chuckle as a finger pulled my chin up. He slowly moved closer, placing a kiss on the edge of my nose.
Butterflies filled my entire body as all I could do was stare. His face moved back, tilting to the side with a cute smile.
He really is handsome
"Do you want to dance?"
I shyly shook my head, catching my bottom lip between my teeth. "I'm to tired."
"We have school tomorrow, why don't you head home and sleep?"
I shyly scooted forward, opening my arms for a hug. He didn't hesitate to hug me, wrapping his arms around my frail body. I felt so warm and comfortable, I didn't want to move.
Something clicked. I'm unsure what, but I realized something. I was happy.
I let out a yawn as Jisung began lightly rubbing my back. "Come on, I'll drive you home."
He tried to move, laughing when I didn't move a muscle. I took a deep breath, inhaling his scent. I loved it.
Was that weird? Maybe. I didn't really care though.
"Jisung?"
He let out a hum in response. I tried to get even closer, ignoring the embarrassment as he chuckled. "You're warm.."
"Then let me know whenever you're cold, I'll share my warmth with you whenever you want."
I couldn't help but giggle. He lightly poked my side, causing me to slightly jump away. He held onto my arm, leaving my face inches from his. "I mean it. I'm here for you, no matter when you need it, no matter what it is."
Pulling my hand up, I frowned. He looked up at me while placing a kiss on my wrist through the sleeve. I began to grow nervous, keeping my eyes on him. He lightly smiled, placing another kiss a bit further up. "I'm here to help."
Does he know?
He lightly nodded, pulling me back in for a hug. "Even if there's nothing I can do.."
He knows
I took a deep breath, slightly backing away. "How.. did you.."
He sighed, placing a third kiss on my wrist. "There was a few signs that helped me figure it out but.. then I saw it last night. I'm sorry."
I shook my head, letting it fall onto his shoulder. "Does Yuriko know?"
He shook his head, brushing a strand of hair out of my face. "I don't think so. I don't plan on telling her either... Do you?"
"No... I don't want her to know.. she'll be so upset."
"Okay."
"There's.. something else on my mind.."
"I'm all ears." He assured.
With another deep breath, I snuggled up to get more comfortable. "I don't want to leave for bootcamp.. my mom made it a point that my dad is sending me no matter what but... I want to stay.. and dance.. with you."
"Moriko, don't forget that you are an adult and can make your own decisions. If you don't want to go, don't go."
I let out a huff. "As if it was that easy. My dad will force me into a car if he has to."
"Then when it comes time for you to leave... come stay in my dorm for a few nights until they come to their senses. If you want to be happy and enjoy your life.. you can't let your parents dictate everything you do like you are a kid."
He has a point..
"Are you sure...?"
He kissed my forehead, leaving me a tomato mess. "Of course. You are always welcome to stay with me."
-- Lunch --
Jisung caught me as I walked out of my class, pulling me towards the cafeteria. I tried to remove his hand from mine as people began to whisper, but to no avail.
We got our lunch as he pulled me to a lunch table. Hyunjin and Yuriko were seated, as well as four others.
"Join us Mori!" Yuriko insisted, pulling me to sit next to her. Jisung sat on the other side of me, assuring me with a smile. "These are some of Hyunjin and I's friends. That's Jeongin, Felix, Seungmin and Changbin."
