Chris POV

I can see the worry on Harleys face, we need to talk. I never answered her message when she apologised and when I saw her being rolled away after the attack I felt awful. I need to apologise and hope she can forgive me.
"Chris...."
"Harley...."
We both speak at the same time and we can't help but laugh.
"You go first" I say and she smiles.
"I'm so sorry, I should have listened to you and I didn't and I'm so sorry. I just.......I've been through so much Chris, stuff I want to tell you about I'm just scared you will think of me differently......and I know I haven't known you for long and we've been on 1 date but.........I just feel something with us and I don't mean that in a creepy stalker super fan way......"

Before she can finish her ramble I gently cup her face and pull her into a kiss. As we pull away she smiles at me.
"You talk to much" she giggles and looks me right in the eye "I really am sorry Chris"
"I'm sorry too"
She looks at me with confusion "why are you sorry?"
"I shouldn't have ignored you. I should have swallowed my pride and answered you back."
"I understood chris...."
I shake my head "you reacted like you should Harley. My life is complicated and dating me is hard. I have over zealous fans who hate on every woman I have ever bought into my life. I have the media following me everything so I have no privacy. It's not easy Harley"

"I know that Chris but.......as a human being I should have had the decency to hear you out. I had no reason not to trust you expect for my own insecurities"
"Harley what happened to you?"
She shakes her head "I don't know if I'm ready to dive into all that Chris"
"Okay. But please no you won't scare me away, I'm really interested in seeing where this could go. I like you Harley, I did from the moment I saw you in that tattoo shop."
She smiles widely "I like you too, I'm just...."
"Scared?"
She nods "I get that and I do hope one day you can tell me why. But until then we take it slow okay?"
"Okay. But Chris?"
"Mmm"

"I don't do the whole multiple dating thing. If I date a guy, he's the only one I date and I appreciate if the guy is only dating me. If you don't want that..."
"Hey" I take her hands "I want that. I don't like multi dating either. Never interested me"
"I'm glad we are on the same page"
"Me too. Now are you hungry?"
"Kind of"
"Okay, I'm going to pop out get some food and grab dodger. I would like to stay here tonight if that's okay? I'll sleep on the sofa I just don't want you alone"
She smiles "okay"
"What food do we want?"

"Surprise me"
"Okay then. I'll be back soon"
She nods and puckers her lips and i can't help but laugh. She is so adorable. I kiss her softly and she smiles widely.
"I'll see you soon"
"See you soon"
As I walk out of the house I can't hide the smile on my face, she is such an amazing woman and I'm so happy she is okay and that we have talked through everything. I just hope that one day she can trust me enough to tell me about her past.
