I lay on my mothers body as she massages my head. My eyes close shut, as I breathe in and out in a perfect rhythm.

"I'm sorry, hun. That's really tough." She whispers, running a hand up and down my back.

I sit up from her chest and hug the shirt Daniel had given me. "This job keeps breaking me." I mumble, looking at my hands.

"That's why I was thinking you should head to a different profession. Your grades are amazing and perfect in every single subject to think of. You can be whatever you want." Mom smiles, still rubbing my back.

"I know but, I can't just leave my job, mom."

"I know, honey. Maybe look for something different while staying at this job."

I nod at what she says and stand up, stretching.

"Also, (Y/n)?" I turn to face Mom as she stands up. "I found someone. It's time you get married."

"Mom, what?!" I shriek. "You're joking, right?!"

"(Y/N), I'm sorry but he wants to meet you tomorrow." She sighs.

I shake my head at her, crying out of frustration. "Mom, I'm fucking 20. I've barely breathed!"

"(Y/n), you won't get married to him right away, you'll meet him a few times for 2 years and then you'll get married." I shake my head, wanting to scream.

I grab my hair, tugging at it. "Mom, stop. I'm not going to marry a random man because you think I'm too single and lonely."

"I don't think that. I just think you need to settle down, (Y/n). What Taylor did to you 2 years ago was horrible and you need someone to go back to and keep you safe."

"Yeah, and I don't think a random man is gonna be able to fucking do that!" I yell. I was going hysteric but I tried to compose myself because Lando was staying over.

"What's going on?" Dad asks, walking into the room.

"I told her about Jaden." Mom sighs.

"Ah yes." Dad sighs.

"You knew about this?!" I cry.

"I'm sorr-" He starts.

"What happened now?" Daniel sighs, walking over to my side.

"They found a random fucking stranger for me to marry." I accuse, frustratingly.

"Mom, Dad, can't you just wait till she's actually a decent age to get married and wait until she finds someone to marry?" Daniel huffs, clearly annoyed with the situation.

"Well, the person she chooses better be specific. I already told the whole family that she's dating a british man who is rich and good looking." Mom mumbles.

My mouth falls open. "Ok? Just say we broke up. Easy." I shrug.

"Darling, you know what this family is like. Also." My dad pauses, looking at me reluctantly.

"What, Dad?" I ask, afraid of whats going to come out of his mouth next.

"We told them you'd bring him to your cousin Tina's wedding thats happening in 2 months." He explains, flinching slightly.

I felt like I was going to scream, but Lando walked into the room, on his phone. As if he could sense the tension, he lifts his head up looking at my family one by one.

"Oh..." He mutters. "Did I just walk into something, I can leave if you want I really don't min-"

"No, it's fine, honey." My mom smiles charmingly at the boy.

Once Lando left, but not out of hearing range from this argument, I started talking. "You told our whole fricking family that I have, like have right now, a british boyfriend who is good looking and rich?" I hiss, walking closer to my mom and dad. They both nod slowly as I drop my arms to my side. "And then you said that I'd bring him to the wedding of my cousin?" They nod again, this time not slowly but surely. "Oh my god." I whisper, running a hand through my hair. "Where the hell do you think I'm going to find such a man here?"

"Well, we thought that the job you would take with McLaren, you'd travel around the world for the races and you might find someone." My mom mumbles quietly, clearly upset with what she had done.

"The job I would take or the job I might take?" I sneer.

My mom looks at me apologetically and stutters. "I- I'm so sorry, (Y/n), now that I think of it, it was really stupid. I shouldn't have done that."

I sigh, giving in. "It's fine." I rub my eyes with one hand and groan. "I'll figure something out before."

"I'm really sorry. I just heard that Taylor would be at the wedding with his new girlfriend and I wanted him to be jealous, you know?" My mom whispers, grabbing my hand. I retract it from her grip.

Elias stumbles into the room, his hair messy and eyes puffy from sleeping. He walks over to Dad and lifts his arms. My dad picks him up and starts talking to him.

"Valid reason." I shrug. My mom hugs me tight.

"I'll do some digging and find someone, I promise I will help." My dad sighs, hugging Elias.

I nod my head slowly and walk up to my room, rubbing my head to get rid of the headache I was having. This is going to be tough.
