"Liv?" Lando calls out as he unlocks the front door to his house. Monaco is truly beautiful. I've only seen it on TV for F1 races. I wasn't able to come here because of my job. No one answered to Landos call so he let out a sigh. "Max must have taken her out."
Max Fewtrell. Landos one and only bestfriend. Max and I always got along, so it was weird when we were hanging out and Lando would join since I didn't have the best relationship with Lando before.
"We can get you settled in the guest room if you like. Or wherever you want to sleep, up to you." Lando says. I wouldn't mind sleeping with Lando, but I don't know if he'd want to sleep with me.
"I stay in the guest room, if that's ok." I don't know why, but being in Landos house makes me feel nervous.
Landos face changes a bit as he nods and leads me to my new room. "Sorry it's really bland. No one usually stays here."
I smile as I look around the room. "It's perfectly fine." I tell him as he puts my bags down on the floor near the bed.
"You can settle in, I'll make something for us to eat-" He starts, happily walking out the door.
"No!" I shout, grabbing his wrist. He jumps a little and puts his free hand on his heart.
"What the heck?" He chuckles.
"Do not. Cook." I threaten. "Do you remember what happened to my apartment in Australia when you decided to cook for you and Daniel?"
Lando thinks for a second before nodding. "Right... I did burn the bottom of your favourite pan and set off the fire alarm in the whole building and cause your apartment to smell like smoke for 3 days straight."
"Exactly." I snap. "You help me unpack, then I will show you how to cook."
Lando nods happily and goes to open my suitcase.
-TIME SKIP-
"Please tell me you know how to cook pasta?" I say in a pleading voice as I turn to him with a box of pasta in my hand.
"Pfft! Of course I do. Max and I make it almost everyday for Olivia." He says with ease as he grabs the box out my hands.
"It's because it's Olivias favourite food... right?" I ask cautiously as he steps forward towards me.
"That... and because it's the only thing I know how to make and not mess up." He shrugs as he leans towards me, pushing me backwards so I hit the counter lightly before both his arms go either side of me and he puts his weight on the counter.
His face was so close I could feel his breath tickling my lips. "Max texted." He says in a low voice.
"Yeah?" I breathe, starting to get nervous.
"Him and Olivia are gonna be back in half an hour." His voice stayed quiet as he leans closer.
"And when did he text that?" I ask as his lips brush against mine briefly.
"Half an hour ago." He smirks.
I hear the front door start to open so I shove him away. But Max doesn't walk in with Olivia. Instead, it's his friend, Mia.
"Mia!" He grins as he walks towards her. I've heard about Mia, she seems really nice.
"Hey, Lando!" She smiles brightly as she hugs him. When she lets go, her eyes fall on me and her mouth falls open. "Get... out..." She gasps.
Lando looks confused but nods. "Ok?" He slowly walks out the kitchen, eyeing the both of us.
"I didn't actually mean for him to get out." She mutters to herself before focusing on me again. "(Y/n), right?!" She seemed really happy to meet me. She starts walking towards me with her arms stretched out, so I hug her. "You don't understand, 2 summers I have been hearing about you."
