Since I wasn't going to be at the Australian grandprix for my first day at work, as Zak said I'd be starting 2 weeks later, my first day of work was 2 days ago, friday for the Azerbaijan grandprix. Today is the race and everything was hectic. I'm currently discussing the track with Lando and telling him about things he should be cautious about.

"Uhh," I look at the track and point at the 'castle section'. "Remember, that area is really bumpy." Lando nods while biting on his nail, trying to take in all the information. "You can use the brake technique, and the team will adjust the suspension setup of the car to make it more compliant and absorbent over bumps." I could see how stressed he was. I let out a shaky breath and place both my arms on his arms, turning him to face me. "I know we've had out setbacks, but I think you'll do good. You're a great, great driver. You've got this."

Lando starts to breathe normally and nods. "Alright, continue."

"The track is tight, but you're starting p2 so it'll help. Hmm." I tap my chin, trying to think of more information to remind him. "The turns are really narrow, watch out for those. The straights are really long, so you can gain more speed there. Alright, I think that's all." I switch off the laptop as Lando nods.

"Thanks." He mumbles, taking a sip of water.

I stand up from the chair and look down at him. "You'll be great." I reassure. He finally breaks out and groans.

"I'm just scared that if something goes wrong Zaks going to yell and yell and yell." He whispers, not wanting everyone to hear.

"Hey, if he does I'll make up a stupid excuse about how it wasn't your fault." I chuckle. He lets out an airy laugh and stands up, towering over me.

"Also, I'm waiting for my answer on the deal I made." He reminds me, cocking a brow.

"I know, I know." I grumble. "I just don't think it would work out. We don't like each other, Lando. And it's really obvious."

"I can fake it for a day." He shrugs.

"3 days." I correct him.

He lets out another shrug and takes in a sip of water. "I can fake it for 3 days."

"Yeah, well. I think I'd lose my mind if I had to fake date you." I snap. He lets out a chuckle and starts to tie his shoe.

"I gotta go for the race, but you think on this offer." He says while walking backwards, before leaving.

I sigh, dropping my arms to my side. I didn't want to take Lando frickin Norris, a boy I don't like. I have a month and a half to find someone else and I will... when I'm bothered.

I make my way out to where Zak and the strategists were sitting so they could talk to the drivers on the radio.

"Is Lando getting in his car?" Zak asks me, turning to look at me in his chair.

I look back and see Lando slipping on his helmet. "Yeah." I inform Zak, walking closer to them.

"You should go make sure he's ok." Zak tells me. I tilt my head in confusion and he chuckles. "I see the way that boy looks at you, it'll calm him down. Just tell him that he's going to do amazing and shit."

I let out a snort and shake my head. "You've got it all wrong. Lando and I are sworn enemies since the second we saw each other."

Zak chuckles and shakes his head. "Tell that to him." With that, he turns around and faces his back to me.

I furrow my brows before shrugging and walking back past the pit lane.

"Talk to him!" Zak yells from behind me.
