"Why were you talking to him?" Dougie asked lexy over the loud music (a.k.a brotherly love pt 2.) playing as they both walked back into the party.
"First of all, he made conversation with me, not me with him but why do you care anyway? You act like I'm your girlfriend or something" she said while walking over to a table full of alcohol and pouring herself a drink.
"IM ACTING LIKE THIS because you being around sdot aint cool AT ALL. That shit look mad suspicious and plus you already know that niggas only want to talk to you cuz they want to be able to say they fucked the opps baby mama"
She downed her cup full of henny and stared at him in disbelief over the words that were coming out of his mouth.
"You know dougie, you've been real moody today and im really getting tired of your little attitude. Do you have a problem with me?" she asked as she slammed her cup down on the table.
"I don't have a problem AT ALL ALEXIS! I been told you that!"
"Well calm down then and have a drink or something. It's your birthday and you've had an attitude the whole damn night! How about we dance together? Would that make you feel better?"
He bit his bottom lip as if he wanted to say yes but he knew it wasn't a good look for him and Alexis to be dancing together especially with all their friends around.
"Nah it's okay, I'm good. You you know kay would trip if he seen or heard that I was dancing with you"
"Kay is NOT my owner tho! Now come on, lets go dance" she said while grabbing his hand and dragging him to the middle of the dance floor.
He shook his head at her carefree attitude and slowly put his hands on her waist from behind while she rapped his lyrics to "stuck in my ways" and danced on him.
The way she repeated each lyric, word for word really turned him on on because it showed him how supportive she was of him despite all the bad things he did to her in the past.

"Uhm Dougie?" she asked while turning her head to the side.
"Huh?" he whispered in his ear as he moved closer to her so he could hear what she was saying over the music.
"Whats really going on with you?"
He sighed. "..Honestly alexis... I been taking percs like crazy"
" Why though? I thought you said that you were going to stop taking drugs after you know... what happened at the cabin..."
"I was gonna to stop.. but life has been rough for me and I needed something to help ease the pain and worries I been having.."
