39. Never the right time to say Goodbye (Finale)

" We have to go" lexy said as she came out the bathroom.

"Why? You ain't even touch your food"

"Because I have to. My period started and I can't sit here and be uncomfortable. I don't have anything for it" (she lied).

"Alright alright, I understand" he said before waving to the waiter and taking money out his wallet to pay for their food.

"Would you like to-go containers?" The waiter asked.

"Yes please" he said as he gave her more than enough for their meal so they wouldn't have to wait too long and stacked the dirty plates on top of eachother .

Lexys lips quivered as she tried not to cry infront of him while waiting for the waiter to return.

"What's wrong bae?" He asked while taking one last bite of his steak.

"Can I meet you in the car? I'm really not feeling good" she said while holding her stomach.

"Yeah go ahead. Here's my keys" he said as he passed them to her.

She rushed to his car and cried as soon as she got in.

It was clear that she was having a miscarriage but the worst part of all was that she was facing all of this alone.

3 minutes later...

"I got you some cake" lee drilly said as he got in the car and looked over at her. "What's wrong? Why you crying? Your cramps hurt that bad?"

"Ali I have to- Ihave to tell you something"

"What? He said while looking over at her with a concerned look.

" I- I took a pregnancy test a few days ago and it was positive"

"What?" He said while raising an eyebrow.

"Yes. I... we were expecting"

"what you mean we "were"? We not expecting no more?"

"No.. when I went to the bathroom inside the resturaunt ... I found out that I was bleeding... a little too much "

"So you having a miscarriage right now?"

"Yes..."

He bit his lip and looked over at her.

"When did you find this out?"

"Find out that I was pregnant? A few days ago"

"Why you ain't tell me when you first found?"

"Because I was scared.."

"Of?"

"I just wasn't sure if I wanted it okay. I have 2 kids already by 2 different fathers. Why would I want a third by a third baby daddy?"

"Why would you not tell me is my question. Fuck your other baby daddies and if you wanted a third or not. That's my fucking child bro!"

She looked at him strangely.

This was the first time he's ever been this defensive towards her and also the first time she's ever feared for her safety while being around him.

"Huh? What are you talking about? How did you know about the fight?"

"I saw that shit online! I'm not stupid!" he said while staring straight out the front window.
