Jungkooks POV
I take the last smokes of my cigarette before stubbing it out and exhaling heavily. After catching some fresh air I make my way to the classroom.
I know I'm late but I also know that I'm not the only one who's late.
The Physic teacher who's going to teach us this semester is constantly flirting with the new literature teacher and thats why he's always at least 5 minutes late for class. At this rate I should be there 2 minutes before he arrives. To my justification, I'm not a stalker, I'm just good at observing.
Live smart not hard. It's gonna be a double lesson and I mentally make myself ready for a good 90 minutes sleep.
When I enter the room my predictions prove right b'cause the stupid teacher is still not done with flirtation. There ain't many in class which is bad for me (taking a nap will get harder at this rate). Suddenly, everyone becomes surprisingly quiet but when I have a quick look at my seat I unterstand the reason for their awkward tension.Someone dared to sit on my seat, more precisely, to sleep on it. I'm really not in the mood to argue so I'm just gonna make it quick.
"This is my seat. Move."
When the sleepy girl looks up she gets startled and I clearly see how her pupils grow bigger. I immediately recognize these panicy looking eyes.
It's the funny girl from yesterday who I helped with the atlases. I didn't expect her to be in my class but what's more interesting is that she keeps getting on my way. What a coincidence.
After realising that it's the girl from earlier, rather than being annoyed I'm kinda amused and curious.
"We're in the same class?!" she spouts unbelievingly.
-"Apperently" I respond calm.
-"Unbelievable" she mumbles but loud enough for me to hear it.
-"You sure it's your classroom?" I ask mockingly.
-"...Yes" she responds obviously annoyed at my question.
-"I'm glad this time you managed to make it to the right classroom."
-"I'm glad this time I didn't interrupt you in a fight."
We looking at each other with fierce eyes but the eye contact gets interrupted when Mr. Flirty finally enters the room.
-"Nevermind, you can keep sitting here" I tell her before approching the seat next to her.
Everyone is starring at us and I can see the confusion in their looks.
"How do they know each other?"
"She's so bold"
"Whats going on?"
I hear them mutter about what happened just now. When I look at them directly, they all shut up in a blink and turn back to the teacher.I look to my left and see the girl glaring at me so I lift an eyebrow to signalize my indifference to the conversation earlier. As an response she rolls her eyes and faces the front now obviously trying to avoid me. I already did something that I've never done before by letting her take my seat, she should be glad and not pissed at me.
After studying her for a while I lean back on my chair and throw my head back, arms crossed and eyes shut."Alright everyone. Listen here please.
So this year I'm gonna try to convey you the most important concepts of physics including the
understanding of the laws and applications of motion, forces, and gravity. Understanding of the processes of work and energy and the laws of thermodynamics. Understanding of how light and sound waves function in our environment..."The endless blubbering of the teacher really annoys me which is why I can't take a proper nap so I open my eyes again and look out of the window. Today is a chilly day and the usual cloudy sky, which represents my mood, rules again in Britain.
A slight beam of sun light which made it's way through the grey clouds catches my attention. As I follow this sun light I see that it's shining on that girl's face, so light that she seems unbothered by it.
My eyes wander around her face and it's the first time I really study it in detail. She has green eyes in a shape which reminds me of a cat I owned when I was younger and light freckles are spreaded all around her cheeks. She's focused on the teacher and keeps attention to what he is writing on the board.
