Alex's POV

I try to convince Edward to go back to the house, for the whole time that it takes is to reach the pack house.

Then I decide that it's not worth it, because I actually might be pregnant, so I would prefer to know if that's why I was sick or not.

When I stop complaining, Edward let's go of my hand, but he makes sure that I follow him through the pack house.

Not much later, we reach the pack hospital, and I walk into the first empty room that I see, while Edward goes to tell the Doctor that were here.

When he comes back, the Doctor's right behind him, and it seems that Edward told him why we're here, because he goes straight to the ultrasound machine, and he brings it with him to the bed that I'm laying on.

"Take your shirt off." He tells me, and I do it unhappily, before I give it to Edward, so he can hold it for me.

The Doctor pours some cold gel on my stomach, before he puts something on it, and he moves it around while he looks at the screen.

"You're not pregnant." He tells me after a while.

"That's good, I'm not ready for a kid yet." I tell him.

Then I clean my stomach, and I stand up, hoping that Edward forgot that we're here because I was throwing up, but it seems that the luck isn't on my side today.

"He was throwing up a few minutes ago." Edwards informs the Doctor.

"Alright, let me take some blood then." He says, and he moves to grab a needle.

I sigh in frustration, but I take my shirt off again, so he will have access to my arm, and I let him stick me with a needle.

When it's done, he does a few more examinations, before he tells us that I can go for now, and that he will let us know about the result of the blood test.

So, I happily walk out of the hospital, and I almost run towards the house, while Edward laughs slightly as he tries to catch up.

I enter the house, and I quickly eat something, before I go upstairs, and I lay down on my bed.

I have to enjoy being here, because any moment the Doctor can call Edward, to tell him to bring me back there.

As I think about it, I quickly realise that I should lock the door, to prevent it from happening, so I do it quickly, but I know that he will manage to get inside anyway.

I really hate that I'm this small, I wonder why I'm not the same as other werewolves with no rank.

I asked Oliver about it once, and he told me that it's how I was born, but I think that there's a bit more to it.

Although I will most likely never know anything about it, because Oliver refuses to tell me, and my parents are dead, so there's no one else who knows the answer to this.
