You Will Be Mine

Chapter 39

Jasper's POV

When I wake up, I feel very cold, and this makes me wonder if somethings wrong.

So, I sit up as quickly as I can, while I whine at the pain that I'm feeling.

I look at my surroundings, and then I remember what happened a while ago.

I also remember that the last time that I was conscious it was getting light outside, and now it's getting dark, which means that I was unconscious for most of the day.

I'm a werewolf, so I will most likely heal soon, but I would have liked this werewolf healing more, if it was able to help me while I was unconscious.

I try to stand up, and I manage to do it, but I lose my balance after taking a few steps, and I fall on a piece of glass, which makes a big would on my forearm.

And it looks just as the cuts that I made myself, so I'm sure that I will be in trouble for this, even though I didn't intentionally do it.

I groan in annoyance, and then I stand up again, and I try to walk towards the pack house.

I would have waited a few minutes to let my body heal, but I feel like I would start to panic if I did.

So, walking through the pain is my only option right now.

I have to take a few breaks on my way, but I manage to reach the pack house, and one of the pack warriors helps me go to the hospital.

I walk into the first room, and I wait for the Doctor to come here.

He does some examinations, and I can see that he's eyeing the cut on my arm, even though I told him what happened, although he doesn't say anything about it.

I also told him that Brett's father and mate did this to me, but I don't think that he believes me.

The Doctor leaves a few minutes later, so I lay down, and I close my eyes to get some rest, but the door opens again, before I can fall asleep.

So, I open my eyes, and I see that Alex is rushing towards me, and my dad is behind him, then my brothers come here too.

"What happened?" Alex asks, but he continues talking, before I can answer his question. "We were looking for you for hours." He tells me worriedly.

"I went for a walk, but when I was in the woods, Don and Brett's mate attacked me, and I was unconscious for the whole day, but I woke up not long ago, and I came here right away." I explain.

I know that Alex believes me, and it looks like Calum believes me too, while Stephan looks like he doesn't know if he should believe me.

And dad looks like he wants to scream at me for lying about one of his best friends.

"I have to talk to Don, but I will be back soon." Dad says, and then he leaves the room without waiting for the reply.
