You Will Be Mine

Chapter 32

Alex's POV

We wake up before it gets dark, so we decide to go on a run together.

So, we go out of the front door, then we undress, before we shift to our wolf forms, and we run inside of the woods.

Jasper and I didn't speak about what happened earlier, we didn't really speak at all since we woke up, mostly because when he looks at me, I can see that he's begging me to not bring that up.

I also know that he had enough of talking for today, so that's why we decided on a run.

Hopefully it will make him feel better, but I really doubt that he will be talking to his father anytime soon.

I'm not very happy that he's forcing Jasper to go to the therapy, because Jasper doesn't feel well after seeing the therapist.

But I'm also happy that someone is talking to him, it makes me feel less paranoid about the fact that he might hurt himself again.

We run for a very long time, and it seems that my mate is enjoying it, so I run alongside him for as long as he wished.

We finally stop when we reach a clearing, there are only a few people here, so it's very quiet.

We can't shift back, because we don't have out clothes with us, so we decide to lay down next to each other, still in our wolf form.

We lay here for a very long time, occasionally talking through the mind link, but I think that Jasper prefers the silence right now, so I mostly stay quiet.

It's already dark, and it had been for a few hours now, but I know that Jasper would like to stay here longer, most likely to avoid having to see his father again.

So, I stay with him, and we lay in silence for a few more hours, but then we hear some footsteps.

I can already smell that it's Isaac, so I'm sure that Jasper can smell it too, since he's a son of the Alpha, so he has better senses than I do.

Jasper sighs, and he stands up, before his father can reach us, so I stand up too, and then he starts to run back towards his house, so I run right after him.

I can hear that Isaac is yelling at us to come back, but Jasper doesn't listen.

When we reach his house, he looks at it for a moment, before he huffs, and he takes our clothes, which are still laying in the back yard, where we left them.

Then he starts to run towards my house, I follow him, and when we get there, we shift, and we but out clothes on, before I ring the bell, because I'm sure that the house is already locked.

Edward opens the front door with a tired look, and he frons when he sees us, but he lets us inside, without questioning us, so we run towards my room.

Although I'm sure that we will have some questions in the morning.
