GRACIE AND REGULUS had not told a soul about what happened in detention.
what was there to tell anyways? he helped her when there was some dirt on her face? it's not as if they kissed or anything.
so when their next detention came, they stood awkwardly on opposite sides of the classroom whilst slughorn blabbed on about his next dinner.
"i really do think you should both come! i know neither of you are dating anyone, so how about you come together. that way you don't have to find dates," he smiled. "i've got to get going, but how about you discuss the details whilst you clean. oh, and i do love when the tie matches the dress."
they both watched as the door magically locked behind him, "did he just set us up on a date and tell us what to wear?"
