Jayeon gave the girl a look. "She's not just thinking." Jayden said, taking a deep breath as Lila gave her younger brother a smack on the head. The Halina siblings plus Jayeon were all crowded in Naomi's apartment spending their night together.
"Is it about Haechan?"
"Woah?! Hello Jayeon?! Name reveal?!"
Jayeong shrugged her shoulders. "You like someone?!" Kami gasped in shock, holding onto Milo's arms as Naomi shook her head. "I do not! Jayeon..!" the girl sulked, turning towards her best friend only to receive a smile in return. "That name sounds familiar.." Jayden muttered.
"He's her co-worker."
"You're in love with your co-worker?! Do you not have standards?!"
They all laughed except for Naomi. The girl turned around, having her back face them as she continued to work on her homework. "He's very nice by the way! We actually go to school together too so.." she mumbled, typing harshly onto her keyboard. "And no i'm not in love with him! I just think he's very likable.." Naomi fixed her posture and clearing her throat.
Jayeon sat in shock, wondering if what she heard was correct. It was the first time Naomi's ever admitted she'd had interest in someone and it just so happened to be Lee Haechan. "He better be hot." Jayden said, standing up and walking over to his sister.
"You guys can meet him at the exhibit. His sculpture is being presented that day." Naomi glanced back at her siblings as they all smiled at her. "So..you guys met at work?" Kami teased, nudging the girl's arm as she grinned.
"Not necessarily.." Naomi said. "We went to school with each other— she's also Sunbi's older brother— but I didn't know he was him when I met him." she continued to type away, Jayeon staring at her friend in glee. "She never saw Haechan's face in high school." Jayeon said for the girl.
"Oh wow..that must've been embarrassing for him.." Lila grimaced at her. "It's fine though! I just want to get over my small feelings before they get any bigger." Naomi turned around and met a full room of jaw dropped expressions. "Get over your feelings?! Naomi this is a national holiday!" Milo said.
"Look i'm sure he wouldn't like someone like me so it's fine. I think we're good as friends anyways."
Jayden sat in front of his oldest sister, placing his hands on her shoulders. "Naomi, you think so low of yourself. You're so amazing! I swear, but it's like you don't think that." he began to say. "You finally like someone. Someone who is worthy of your time cause you are so picky about guys—"
"Okay now.."
"I'm just saying!"
The girls laughed. "But think about it and tell him. It's worth it than keeping it to yourself and never knowing how it could've ended." Jayeon smiled at the two siblings while Jayden patted his sister's head. "I'll try, but don't expect me to say it so quickly!" Naomi said.
