Two minutes had passed and Haechan saw Naomi back with Injoon holding her hand. He smiled at the sight. "Is she your girlfriend now!" Saebi whispered loudly to him. "I'm asking her today." he whispered back to the young girl. Her eyes widened in happiness. "Don't be too obvious!" he said as she straightened herself out.
"I'm so happy for you!" Saebi then whispered again. "What'd you get her?" the younger ran around him, wasting her energy. "It's a secret." Haechan pressed his finger against his lips, Saebi copying his move. "I'll keep your secret..only if you play Barbie with me!" she placed her hands on her hips, Haechan pretending to feel threatened.
"Barbie..? I..can't!" he shook his head. "I'm a guy!" he said, knowing well he used to play with his younger sisters. "It's okay! Everyone can play Barbie! Let's go!" Saebi said, deciding for him as she tried dragging the older male over to the doll house.
"Injoon." Naomi smiled gently at the boy. "Hm?" he hummed, dragging his crayon across the empty sheet of paper. "I won't be here for a while so don't miss me too much. I'll be going back home soon." she spoke with such kindness, Injoon looking up at her with wide eyes.
"I'll be visiting my family. Don't worry. I'll be back. I'll bring everyone a gift." she gently squeezed his cheeks. "Leaving..soon?" the boy mumbled. "In two days. I'll be here tomorrow, but after that I'm heading out." Naomi brought her knees close to her chest. Talking with the boy felt like she was talking to her younger self.
"Okay." Injoon nodded his head, letting out a deep sigh. "I'll bring a gift for everyone. Just tell me what you want me to bring you. Draw it even and I'll find something that looks just like it." Naomi smiled warmly, it reminded him of his sister and mother. "And don't forget that you can call me. Just ask Ten or Taeyong. Even Sicheng and Kun okay?"
"Okay.."
She knew that was the most she could get out of him, bringing the boy into a hug. "I'll be back." she repeated, hoping to reassure his worries before they could get worse. "I want a hug too!" Jihoon said from across the room, immediately running to the girl. "Me too!" Leehyun joined in. Naomi was then wrapped in the boys' arms, laughing at how eager they were.
