'Eric can I talk to you for a second?',
I asked standing in the doorway to the ops centre, Eric looked up from the file he was reading at his desk and nodded his head at me. He quickly stood up and walked towards me,
'what's going on?',
Eric asked quite sceptical whilst still smiling at me. I walked past him and shut the door so nobody else would hear the conversation, I turned back to face Eric who was looking extremely concerned,
'okay now you've got me scared what's wrong?',
Eric asked, I let out a slight breath and began to avoid his eye contact,
'I hate having to ask anyone this but especially you but I was wondering what you were doing this weekend?',
I asked him, he raised his eyebrows at me,
'uhhhh nothing apart from going to a renaissance fair',
Eric said quite suspicious, I nodded my head,
'well would you like to do a somewhat undercover op with me?',
I asked quite awkwardly, he looked at me confused,
'how can an undercover op be somewhat undercover?',
Eric asked, I smiled slightly,
'I may have told my parents that I have a boyfriend, so how would you like to pretend to be my boyfriend for the weekend?'.
