"-jay never sleeps with a closed door, it's getting frustrating when i sleep over." jake tiredly rubs his eyes and yawns as jungwon just laughs. "the light from his toilet is so frustrating- how the fuck does he sleep-"

jay is the uni's most friendly and popular student, with the worst grades. quite ironic considering his friend is sim jake, the top student. jungwon has never met jay, nor does he wish to.

jungwon is a strong believer that ghosts do not exist. he has never had any supernatural experiences to prove otherwise.

"hyung, why do you think he does that?" jungwon nibbled on his teriyaki chicken sandwich, his arms intertwined with jake's. jake only shrugged, unlike jungwon, he had known jay his whole life.

"i don't know, he told me he's scared of ghosts." jake slumped into jungwon, who's struggling to support his weight. they soon parted, leaving to their respective classes. jungwon checked the schedule. he had one class with jay.

jay walked in the chatter-filled room just before the english professor, to the surprise of no one.

the classes ended fairly quickly. jungwon slipped between the crowd, heading towards the library to catch up on studying.

jay followed suit. jungwon turned around, exasperated by his presence.

"jay? jake hyung isn't here." jungwon glared at him while jay raised his brow, somewhere between amused and bemused. "am i not your hyung too?" he chuckled.

"plus, i was looking for you, not jake." he chuckled, pulling out one of the chairs and sitting next to the chair he pulled out for jungwon.

"what? why." he asked, more so a demand. he wasn't going to waste his time studying on his senior classmate.

jay shrugged, leaning back, slouching against the chair. "cuz i'm terrible at english." jungwon looked at him with a annoyed look. "no you aren't, you're american."

jay face palmed, "sorry, i meant uh, history." jungwon looked at him skeptically, but nodded, pulling out a piece of paper and a pencil.

"fine. where don't you understand." they spent the day together.

alas, dusk is upon them and it was time to head home. they walked out of the library and towards the entrance, where a tired jake stood, waving at the pair.

"jay, i'll sleepover at yours, but you have to close. the. fucking. door." jake slumped onto jay's shoulder as jungwon awkwardly stood there.

jay looked at jungwon with his signature crooked smile, "do you wanna join us?" jungwon contemplated for a second, but agreed. besides, it was the weekend tomorrow, he had nothing better planned.

they headed down the street towards a fancy house with a garden filled with daisies.

"wow," he gaped at the sight. jay's house was simple yet elegant. "welcome to my humble abode!" he ushered them inside.

they turned on the television. jay's house was empty, and when inquired, he replied with "my parents thought me responsible enough, so i got my own place. not my choice though." he laughed, saying that he'd much prefer an apartment or modern condo.

jungwon would rather live at jay's house though. it was in touch with nature and he loved that.

they watched movie after movie and ate loads of buttered corn. very quickly, they became drowsy.

"jungwon?" jay shook him. jungwon leaned further into the warmth, he whined softly.

jake was fast asleep next to jay and jungwon, while the pair was were cuddling up on the sofa.

"let's get you to bed. jake wouldn't budge." jay lifted him up, grabbing the remote swiftly from the coffee table and turning it off.

jungwon's arms circled around jay's neck, nestling further into his chest before landing on his feet.

he sleepily walked into the nearest room, ignoring the 'jay's room, no entry' sign.

he quickly made himself comfortable and finally laid on the plush pillow, facing the door.

"i guess i'm sleeping on the floor tonight." jay was about to lay a blanket on the floor before jungwon beckoned him over.

jungwon gripped on his shirt. "sleep on the bed." his eyes closed, cheeks dusted with a pinkish hue.

"alright," jay crawled into the covers, their legs tangled up together. "sleep tight." jay faced away, but jungwon pulled him back.

"warm."

jungwon's face was now buried in jay's blonde locks, with his hands holding his head close to his neck.

jay was breathing steadily, his arms circling jungwon's slim waist. his lower body under jungwon's slender leg.

jungwon's soft snores lulled them into sleep, as if the ticking of the clock had paused, just for them to savour this moment.

"now that's a sight for sore eyes." jungwon stirred in his sleep, whining as jay untangled himself to tackle jake who took potential blackmail photos.

"what's your password?" jay pressed jake on the ground, pining his hands behind his back like a police officer making an arrest.

his morning voice was groggy and deeper than usual, making jungwon rise with red ears.

he rubbed his eyes, his hair messy and lips in the form of a pout. jay turned to stare and smile at him with an indecipherable expression.

"just let him go," jungwon laid back down, his eyes readjusting to the darkness of his closed lids.

"fine, i'll just get better blackmail." jay crawled back onto the bed, as jake sneaked back out.

as he closed the door, he made a delightful discovery.

"i had to turn the knob to get in, he closed the door."
