jay ruffled his hair in frustration as he looked at his mock exam papers, bemused.

being stuck inside a confined space didn't help either. he could hear the blood pumping in his neck.

he was screwed. he'd have exams in a week and was still screwing up over a single marked question on his mock paper. one fucking mark. his last straw.

"i can't do this." jay stood up, making everyone in the study room look at him. "be patient, jongseong-ah." heeseung, his classmate and friend's voice washed over him like water over a wildfire.

however, still his steam remain.

jay chugged his fifth can of beer. jay had a high alcohol tolerance, but all the stress and alcohol made his mind go all woozy.

he sat up from the convenience store's bench, his blurry vision clouding everything around him.

his breath stiffened as he stumbled, falling down onto the pavement. he looked up, squinting, attempting to see better but no avail.

sure he was near his dorm, he touched the door in front of him. "...3...1...2...8..." he groggily thumbed at the doorbell. he waited for his roommate, a freshman who's a good two years younger.

he leaned on the cold gate, waiting for the door to open. and soon, it did.

"who the hell is here of all places at fucking satan's butt crack of dawn-" jay furrowed his brows at the familiar voice. he groaned out, "jungwonnnnnnn," and threw himself at the smaller male.

jungwon let out a small huff as he helped jay who was now barefoot into the dorm room, sighing at the messy socks and sneakers but only bothering to use his foot to position them.

jay was laid on the couch, sprawled over the surface like a corpse on the side of a busy highway. the stench of burning alcohol laid hot on his tongue.

he hummed, feeling the urgent need to take off his clothes. just as he was about to take off his jeans, he was stopped by a mortified jungwon. "jay hyung. down. no stripping." jay whined, feeling fire on his skin as jungwon's touch left his arm.

he pulled jungwon's hand into his embrace, feeling jungwon freeze under his touch. his chest heaved, jungwon's weight pressing down against him.

jungwon struggled to get out of his grasp, jay's pinkie tugging onto his own. he blushed, what the heck?

he knew jay was flirty, but this was crossing a line.

"i'm just gonna get water for you, hyung. i'll be back." jungwon whispered into his ear and slipped away to the kitchen of their dorm.

somehow his scholarship came with an offer for a really good apartment-like dorm and a coincidentally really attractive and cool roommate.

though the said roommate mostly used drinking as a stress reliever and being a college student, stress is a frequent occurrence, unfortunately.

jungwon hummed to the running water while he waited for the pitcher to fill, and glanced back at the couch. soft snores came from the area, and he sighed. finally, jay was asleep.

he brought the filled glass to jay's side, and poured some water on a towel. he wiped jay down, the damp towel cleaning his sweaty bare chest and clearing out the strong odour of beer.

jungwon blushed as he stared at jay's toned abdomen. the towel traced each bump, and jay's finger would twitch as the towel got lower.

soon enough, jay's hand gripped his wrist.
