sunoo was so not ready for this.

the school year had just started and he was already feeling a little stiff around one of the guys in his class.

his name was park sunghoon, and he is as beautiful as his name.

sunoo initially thought it was the stress. maybe too much stress caused an overload of brain chemicals and it just happened to be dopamine and oxytocin.

but he continued to look at him from afar. the way he moved was like it was meticulously planned, elegance flowing with every step.

sunoo even memorised the way he looked, starting a sketchbook just to get a portrait of him.

a subtle glance, a tiny stare from across the room would send sunoo in a frenzy. his smile would widen or he'd tilt his head, yet all sunghoon ever did was turn away.

sunoo could feel dread creep in. was he wasting time and energy on some random dude he barely knew? the school year had just started for a few months. this was all too fast.

sunoo felt like a teenage girl with an obsessive crush with a hot dude.

"ugh, just confess, hyung." ni-ki groaned as he buried his head into his burrito. "no. i'm not gonna force it, i'm gonna let fate take the wheel." sunoo looked at him, full of determination.

jungwon sighed, "you're gonna get hurt when he gets a girl." this made sunoo frown, sure he knew that was eventually gonna happen, but hearing it from one of your closest friends hurt like a stab, over time, he'd get over him. "yeah, but i'll be responsible for my own feelings."

and this went on.

sunoo hated the cliche. he was an emotional person, and it wasn't helping that his grades were an all time low.

for some reason, the more he wanted to get over sunghoon, the more he felt like he was his source of energy.

he gave him motivation to wake up every day.
