While Caitlin and Lily were not officially dating ( due to both of them wanting to take it slow ), their relationship is definitely not platonic. It had only been a day since they kissed, but they've been best friends for five months, and roommates for one.

They needed to adjust to this change, especially since they lived together. They had spent the rest of the day talking and kissing yesterday, now they were just fooling around.

"Caitlin?" Lily calls out, the girl in question in her room working on a paper.

"Yeah?" Yelling back, sounding a little distracted since she was hard at work.

"Come here," she whines, the boredom of just lounging on their couch finally getting to her.

"No, I only have like a hundred words left on this paper, you can come here though?" Caitlin responds, the typing of her MacBook keyboard accompanying her voice.

Lily doesn't say anything, but she gets up. Walking towards Caitlin's room, she looks around at the pictures on the wall. Multiple of just them, some others with a few of her old teammates from Dowling Catholic, and even more of the Iowa Women's Basketball team. It makes Lily smile, knowing Caitlin's devotion and loyalty to her teams.

Arriving at the brunette's room, she notices that the doors open, which makes sense as she could hear everything that was going on from the living room. Multiple trophies and medals are displayed in her room, some of them in fireproof cases ( like her USA gold medals ) in case of an emergency. She also notices that there's a lot of pictures of them both in Caitlin's room, such as a polaroid of them after a basketball game on her nightstand.

"Hey superstar," she greets, looking directly at Caitlin, who's sporting a plain black t-shirt and some sweatpants.

She looks up from her laptop, pausing her movements to greet her back. "Hey Lils," meeting her smile with one of her own. "What's up?"

Lily sighs, going over to Caitlin's bed, and plopping herself down next to her. She's wearing one of her sweaters that must've came from a USA Basketball camp, as it has those words directly displayed across them. It's incredibly oversized, swallowing her entirely to the point where her shorts aren't visible. "Just bored, and I missed you, I guess."

"You guess?" she mockingly gasps, putting on a show by placing her hand over her heart. "That hurt my feelings, Lils."

Shaking her head while laughing at her antics, she carefully and gently hits her arm. "You jerk, I didn't mean it like that!"

Caitlin finally shuts off her laptop, sighing in relief once she's done and throws herself back on her bed with her hands interlocked over her head. "I'm finally done my paper, sorry for kind of ignoring you. I figured if I got it done quickly we could spend more time together," she tilts her head as she says it, closing her eyes.

Lily bites her lip, considering the pros and cons of getting herself comfortable near Caitlin's side, and she knows she wouldn't mind, so she does exactly what she was just considering.

Caitlin doesn't say anything about it, but she does start a game of questions where she asks a question, and Lily answers, and vice versa.
