"Someday you will learn loving the living is more important than killing for those who are dead"

Back at the Old Mill, Kaleb walks up with a bouquet of wild flowers, "I know I was trippin'...but turns out there was no need," Kaleb says. "The teenagers and Lizzie already had plans to go into the prison world," Kaleb says. "So, all you and I got to worry about now is that whole 'getting to know each other' part," Kaleb says. "Cleo," he asks, seeing the witch with blood dripping down her face. "What the hell?" Kaleb exclaims. "You all right?" he asks, as Cleo regains consciousness. "Yes. That took far more out of me than I expected," Cleo says. "I don't like the sound of that.
What-what did you do?" Kaleb asks. There is a hissing as Cleo points to the building that is spelled, a monster called the Charon steps out of the shadows. Meet Charon, the Ferryman," Cleo says. The monster forces his staff into the ground, "Ho-ly crap," Kaleb whispers. The Charon tries to walk forward almost over the salt line. The spell taking affect, nearly catching the monster on fire. "I'll go get Dr. S and Bonnie," Kaleb says.

"Told you that Cleo would not wait," Lucifer says. "And it is Headmistress Bonnie," Lizzie adds.

Out in the cemetery, Hope and Ivy and ash continues setting up the spell.
"The planetary transit will be visible just after the sun goes down," Hope explains. "Do you really think that I can handle taking back my magic," Josie asks. Ash looks at ivy , and ivy Mikaelson takes over setting up the spell, "I mean the last time I had magic..." Josie starts.
"I'm just willing to bet that you're stronger than the darkness. Like you were before," Ash says, coming over to the Saltzman and embracing her. "Yeah, but what if you're wrong?" Josie asks. "Then I'll be right by your side. Like I was when you had...your episode," ash says, caressing Josie's cheek. "Ivy went into your head thinking that you needed someone to save you. But you didn't. You pulled yourself out of the darkness and into the light. All ivy did was remind you of who you are," Ash whispers. "I thought I knew who I was. That Mystic Falls High was a fresh start. A new me. Without magic, monsters or drama," Josie says.
"Those things are a part of you, Jo. They always will be. You can't run from them,"ivy reminds the girl. Josie sighs,
"Just know, whatever your decision," Ash whispers. "I will respect it," Ash adds, pressing a kiss to Josie's lips. "I've made my decision," Josie whispers against Ash Mikealson lips.

Bonnie smiles softly, and Elena laughs at her friend's facial expression. "What," Bonnie asks. "I have only seen you make that facial expression when Lizzie and Lucifer are being like this," Elena says. "And I may know the reason," Lizzie says. "And what is the reason,"
Bonnie asks. "Lucifer and I are a little more obvious with our feelings for one another," Lizzie says. "A little," Kol asks. "He learned PDA and how to flirt from you," Lizzie snaps at the Original. "Ash and Josie like to enjoy their more intimate moments in private settings," Lucifer adds.

"You two captured this thing?" Alaric asks, looking at the monster behind the spell. "Uh, yeah. More or less," Kaleb says. "Well, let's start with the more," Alaric says. "Uh...I summoned it, Dr. Saltzman," Cleo says. Alaric looks at the vampire and then at the witch, "No, look, look, before you freak out, you said that you wanted us to catch a monster to try to get some more answers, right? This one does more than that," Kaleb explains. "In theory. But it will not accept money in exchange for Landon's soul, as we expected, so we are in need of your expertise," Cleo says. "Well, I'm a little rusty when it comes to psychopomps, but I think I know what it wants," Alaric says. The former headmaster turns to Kaleb, "Go get some of Landon's personal items.
It'll need some of those to identify his soul or whatever,"
Alaric says. "Nerd stuff. Copy that," Kaleb says. "Stay away from the Mikaelsons," Alaric adds. "We're on it," Kaleb says as he and Cleo head back to the school. "Oh, and, uh, Cleo?
Next time you want to summon a monster, just ask for permission first, okay?" Alaric says. "Now get moving. We're running out of time," Alaric says. The monster hisses at the human just on the other side of the salt line.
