Present Time
"I wish. It was like a clown car in there. Five kids, one keg,"
Mac says. Alaric laughs, "I don't even know how they all squeezed in there," Mac says. "Yikes. So, what'd you do next?" Alaric asks. "Mm my first instinct was to cuff them and drag them all down to the station. But then I calmed down and I did the reasonable thing that we always do, because that's what we have to do, right?" Mac asks. "-I lie to my girls and keep secrets to protect them, so l'm not sure I'm the right person to be asking for parental advice," Alaric says. "Well, I'm a little desperate. My good kid just got in another fight," Mac says. "I'm Team Ethan, so maybe trust him to make the right decisions on his own," Alaric says.
"Then perhaps you should let your daughters solve their own problems sometime. And would it absolve you of your own sins to let someone say, a cute cop hear these secrets that you're keeping?" Mac asks. "Oh, sorry, Sheriff. But I'll be taking those secrets with me to the grave," Alaric says,
Mac laughs lightly.

The girls and boys turn to Alaric, "How can you start a relationship out on a lie," they ask. Kai clears his throat,
"I would like to take this moment to mention that most of his relationships start with a lie," he says. The girls and boys shrug and turn back to the screen.

Emma and Dorian were standing in the doorway of a study room arguing. "I asked you a simple question. Why does everything have to be a secret with you?" he asks. "Me?" Emma exclaims. "Oh. At least I can open up. You're never emotionally available," Emma exclaims. "Emotionally available? You took a job in Japan!" Dorian yells. "And you never told me how that made you feel," Emma growls.
Some of the students see the Qareen take form. "Um,"
Alyssa shouts. "What?" both Emma and Dorian ask turning to her. "What the hell is that thing?" Dorian asks.

"Awww," ivy exclaims. "I was really holding out hope for them," she says.

The Mikaelson girls and boys 'Lizzie, Landon and Wade were in a library. Lucifer was looking at the letter he received earlier that morning. "Okay. The Qareen does have an Achilles' heel," Wade announces to the group. "Uh, it's weak to myrrh, Sinbad's scimitar, and fairies," he adds, reading from the book. "Don't even think about it," ash says. "Why don't you believe me?" Wade asks. "Can you fly or shoot fairy dust or make others gleeful?" Ash asks. "No," mikayla replies. "Because you're doing the exact same thing that Landon is with her training: you're trying to fit in," Lucifer says with a smirk. "Lucifer ," mikayla exclaims. "You cannot be affected by the monster," Henrik says. "It's delusional,"
Ash adds. Landon rolls her eyes, "I sh-shouldn't have said that," ash says. "You do know the reason I'm training is to help you with this stuff?" Landon asks. "No, you are trying to make yourself feel better," Lucifer says.

"How many times do I have to say it," Finn asks, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Power does not give you the ability to make others feel bad about themselves,"caroilne says. "Actually, it literally does,"
Lucifer says.

"If I need someone to die a lot, or be picked on, I know who to call,"  mikayla says. "Wade, I'm sorry," she adds, when he leaves the room. "I'm sorry," mikayla says again. She sits down, "I didn't mean that, I didn't mean that," she says.
"Actually, you did. The Qareen magnifies insecurities. It doesn't make them," Landon says. "Then shouldn't it affect you more," Lucifer asks. Landon glares at Lucifer who just smirks.

Kol and Davina and Elitoys smirk, "See, Uncle Finn," Lucifer says, nodding towards his sister and parents.
"They are proud of me," Lucifer says.

Alyssa walks in the room, "Hey, book nerds. There's a monster on campus," Alyssa says. "It kind of looks like that pimple mikayla had last week," she adds. "Are you sure it wasn't your own reflection?" Mikayla shoots back. "Great. It's strong enough to be on our plane," Landon complains.
Alyssa leaves, "Where have I seen that outfit before," mikayla asks. "She was wearing it earlier, when you nearly choked her out," ash deadpans. "And the outfit is mine," mikayla says. "And you are okay with it," Lucifer asks. "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery," mikayla shoots back. Mikayla and ash exchange a look, "Okay, well, we need to get Landon somewhere safe just in case," mikayla says. "So you don't go get yourself kidnapped again," ash adds. "I'm really not blaming the victim here," ash adds. "I actually don't think it's after me. Like, it actively avoided Wade and me," Landon says. "Then what does it want?" Lizzie asks.
