Anakin and Ahsoka but like as siblings or in this case father and daughter

Anakin is passed out on his droid desk (in his room in the Jedi temple) when suddenly the sliding door opens, Ahsoka stands there carrying a pillow and holding it up to her chest to figit nervously with "Master?" she called, Anakin blinked his eyes open "Can I've a hug?" she said. Anakin looks confused at first but then gives Ahsoka a lopsided smile, happy that his apprentice trusts his. Even if it does mean losing the rare minutes of sleep he gets
"Mm, of course Snips." Anakin says mumbly but happily, even in the dark he could tell Ahsoka was relived. She ran over to him giving him a hug and dropping the pillow, ignoring the fact he was still sitting down. Anakin frowned at how distressed his Padawan was, but he just slid out of the chair and onto the floor to hug her better. He was surprised to fell his shoulder wet from tears.
"I know we're not aloud, but do you ever want to go home?" she asked, besides being muffled she showed no indicator that she was crying. Anakins face softened, he knew exactly what she was dealing with, perhaps more than others.
"Of course I do." Anakin said, he felt shock resonate in his apprentice
"But your..." Ahsoka started, stuttering over the right word "I- I don't know, your... all strong, your my master. You may not be a by the book Jedi who follows every rule but your not- I don't know." she said, Anakin frowned slightly
"You think your not?" he asked
"No. That's what my dream was about- or maybe it was a vision..." Ahsoka said
"Hm, if its this bad it's probably just a dream." Anakin said, he had experience.
"Well, no master would take me, and then I became a padawan just to fail and fail again, and then I- *sniff* I got kicked out of the order, a-and died, so many different ways. Even you died! And there was nothing I could do." Ahsoka said, crying stronger but still not making a sound,
"Snips... do you want me to tell you a story?" Anakin carefully asked his padawan, hoping she wouldn't hate him after
"Yes... why are you so worried I would hate you over a story?" Ahsoka asked, Anakin smiled over how easy she read him but his smile dropped
"Because it's real, it happened. Words can deceive you, they can make it seem worse than reality, or better; but not many people know that words don't have to be fake to make a story." Anakin said,
"I won't hate you I promise." Ahsoka said; Anakin smiled without a trace of humour, if Ahsoka was right, he even looked sad.
"You know of my birth planet right? Tatooine. You may have realised it's unusual for a Jedi to know- or well care about their birth planets, because they were taken off before they were even a toddler. Well, I wasn't, I grew up a slave with my mother, I had nothing... except for my mother, and hope. Eventually, when I was eight, a Jedi came into the shop I was a slave in. Qui-Gon. He needed parts for a Nubian ship- the whole hyperdrive too. But he only had republic credits, and well, there was no republic out there. Then a sandstorm came, his ship was on the outskirts and he would never reach it in time, I offered him shelter in my house and I realised if he enter the pod racer I had been building and convinced Watto to let me drive it, I could win! And the winnings would be more than enough to cover for the parts of their ship. So Qui-Gon made a bat with Watto, I don't know the details, only that at some point Qui-Gon better for me and mom too, I won, but he could only convince Watto to give up me." Anakin said, Ahsoka looked up at him and Anakin felt how shocked she was "Do you know when this was?" Anakin asked her
"What- no? How could I?" Ahsoka said, confused at how her master expected her to guess. Had their been a clue somewhere that she'd missed- wait. "You we're found during the blockade of Naboo!" Ahsoka said, she looked up at her master in awe
"Yes." Anakin said "As a matter of fact for some reason only known to the force they brought me into a battle, it worked out though because I accidentally blew up a droid control ship," Anakin grinned. But Ahsoka seemed to sadden
"See! Even when you have no clue what's going on your great!" Ahsoka said, how could she ever live up to her master?
"No Snips, that's not the story. It's about how I didn't fit in, just like you feel you don't!" Anakin said "And I turned out great didn't I!"
"What?" Ahsoka said, confused, who wouldn't love her master? Every younglings was disappointed when he took her on.
"Well, sure. I could blow up a ship, pilot a pod racer, make and fit droids, I could do all that. But do you know what else I had? An accent. I grew up on the worst planet imaginable, I had a strong outer rim accent- and still one more native to the local scum pools. I was teased for that, all the other padawans and younglings teased me for feeling; whether I was new to something and thought it was awesome or I was worried about my mother- for I had loved her and left her. They teased me. And then, they teased me for not feeling, again, I grew up in a bucket of filth- if it could be called a bucket. But the point is, I was completely unsheltered, when we got to learning about crime bosses, I knew everything about the Hutts because they ruled over the planet I had lived on. That made me weird. Talking about slavery and why it was wrong, I didn't understand why they made it sound like a problem of the past, after all I was a slave. Weird. Them giving a brief explanation about sex, you mean like a sex slave? Weird. I was teased for being different. I never fit it, I managed to become an outcast amongst the unfeeling." Anakin explained, his heart dropping at the mention of his past
"Oh- I'm sorry master! I had no idea I swear. I didn't mean to-" Ahsoka started.
"That's not the point, all I wanted was to fit in. But now I see, maybe standing out isn't such a bad thing after all- that's part of the reason I accepted you as my padawan." Anakin explain,
"But master. Why would you want to not fit in?" Ahsoka asked confusedly
"Well, for one, you don't need to be the same to be friends. And for two, why would anyone ever want to be the same as the people who teased them? Who would willingly lower themselves to the point of teasing someone because they love? Who does that? Who wants to be that?" Anakin explain,
"So... your saying. Everyone's scared of not fitting in... but maybe it's fitting in we should be scared off?" Ahsoka said, she wasn't sure she got the wording quite right but she understood what he meant.
"Precisely, but back to your dream. I know they can feel so real, so soul crushingly real, especially if you think it might be a vision. But it's not, I promise you, ever time you have the dream- or any bad dream for that matter, I give you permission to come and find me." Anakin said, Ahsoka looked at him, and in that moment she felt like the luckiest padawan in the world.

Extra

Ahsoka: wait a minute? Do you even have a bed?
Anakin: yeah *flips up onto hammock hung from the second level of his room which can barely be called a second level because there's no floor, just a few supports*
Ahsoka: uh- did you just-...I am speechless! You- HOWS THAT A GOOD IDEA?!
Anakin: it gives me more space because it's not on the ground, and it actually quite comfy considering I've slept in holes in the ground
Ahsoka: holes in the gr- NEVER MIND! I wouldn't put anything past you. How do you even get up, what if your really tired or bleeding out?
Anakin: like this.
Ahsoka: ... you've dramatically flipped up to that thing in style while half dead haven't you?
Anakin: yup
Ahsoka: ...
Anakin: I don't care if I pass out after. I will do five backflips, a hand spring, some more overly-complicated flipping, beat your ass, and then promptly pass out. In style

Ahsoka: *muttering* this is why the troops think the Jedi are extra
