Saturday, July 15th - Gender Reveal Day
Today is my gender reveal and I'm so excited!!! Me and DonDon had a talk and decided to get back together. He hasn't put his hands on me, talked to me crazy or anything. He's been staying a few nights at my house and helping me with the baby nursery. We know what we're having, but our family and friends don't. It's officially 12:30pm and the baby shower doesn't start until 3:30pm - 6:00pm. I have to go get my nails, and makeup done. I got my hair done yesterday, DonDon isn't home right now, but hopefully he'll be here by the time it's time to leave for the gender reveal. I got up out of bed, did my oral hygiene routine and then took a quick shower before my appointments. My nail appointment is at 1:00 and my makeup appointment is at 2:00. I have plenty of time to make it to both of them without any issues. I heard my front door slam shut. " Why you slamming doors "? I asked him coming out of the room pulling my mini dress down. " What the fuck do you have on"? He asked me walking past me and going into the bathroom. " This is just a little something I'm putting on for my makeup and nail appointments, do you like it"? I asked posing like a model. " No. you look like a hoe " he said pulling his clothes off and closing the bathroom door. I heard the shower come on. I just ignored him, grabbed my things and walked out the house.
It is now 2:55pm, my hair, makeup and nails is done and I am gender reveal ready. I just made it back to the house and I see that DonDon car isn't here. He's probably gone to get his self took care of and getting his dread's re-twisted. I went in the house, and put on my pink long dress ( I'm team girl although I know what the gender is ). I also put on my cute platform sandals. I put on some smell goods and grabbed all my belongings so I can head to the venue place now. I spent $400 to rent the venue and for my decorations i spent $600. It didn't matter to me the price, because I wanted this to be the best gender reveal I ever have. I pulled up and seen that DonDon car was not there and he did not answer the phone when I called him while leaving out of the house... Where is this nigga at? Why does he always do this? My parents are here and he's bullshitting. I said to myself, picking my phone up to call him again. " You know what, fuck this nigga. I didn't come this far to give up, I'm going to go in here and enjoy myself, even when I gotta make the grand entrance by myself". I got out of the car and started to walk in, I heard the song " Moment 4 Life " by Nicki Minaj FT. Drake come on. I knew to start walking. I walked in and everybody was clapping and smiling except for my parents. Everyone had their cameras on me and was screaming. " Yesssss that's my frienddddd ". " Yesssss you look so good girl" I heard across the room. I finally reached my throne seat and sat down. I scanned the room looking for DonDon and didn't see him. " You look so beautiful bestie". Semaje said coming up to me and pinning the " Mommy to be " pin on my dress and putting my sash around me. " Where is DonDon"? I asked whispering in her ear cause the music was so loud. She just shrugged and called Ricky over. She asked him something cause he grabbed his phone and ran outside. I danced for a little and then sat down to eat. DonDon still wasn't there...
" This is exactly why I told you to not open your legs for anybody". I heard a familiar voice come up to me. I looked up from my plate and seen my mom and dad standing in front of me holding a big gift bag in their hands. " Mommy!!! Daddyyy!! " I jumped up really fast pulling them both in for a hug. " Omgggggg it feels so good to see y'all here, y'all don't even understand". I said pulling away from them and looking at the both of them. They didn't even budge. " What "? I asked changing my smile to a frown. " So where is he "? My dad asked looking around. Before I could say anything, DonDon walked through the door. Everybody started screaming " Where you been"? " There that nigga go ". Voice said from around the room. " Wassup y'all welcome to the gender reveal thanks for coming "!!! He said walking towards me. " Hey baby " he kissed me on my cheek. He smelled like nothing but weed and sex. My mom put the gift bag down on the table " I'm going to the car ". She told my dad and then walked away. " You're having a baby with a thug"? He asked scratching his head and then folding his arms. " A thug? Nigga Ian no thug". DonDon said looking my dad up and down. " You aren't ? Look at how you dressed. Sagging with no belt on, tattoos everywhere, smelling like marijuana. You sure don't look like you're ready to be a dad to me". " Okay dad please don't start anything, why can't you just be happy for me"? I asked standing in front of my dad and DonDon. " Nah fuck that shit bae, he can't respect you or be happy for you he gotta go cause Ian going nowhere". DonDon said out loud causing everyone's attention to us. " DonDon chill, that's my dad". I said in a begging tone. " Nah the fuck everybody need to know how yo daddy is, I'm sick of his bitch ass coming at me the way he do he don't even know me bruh". DonDon started to walk up on my dad. " Young man I suggest yo- " My dad was cut off by DonDon punching him in the face. They started to fight. I heard my mom screaming in the background and everyone ran over to break it up. " DonDon stop!! " " This is a gender reveal". " Let him go". I stood there watching all of this chaos unfold. Tears started to fall down my face. " I don't claim you as a daughter, you aren't my daughter, you're just a disrespecting child, you weren't raised to love thugs. You was raised to love a man who would care for you and have a stable life". My mom said before her and my dad walked out. " Don't contact us anymore, we don't want to ever talk to you again". They both walked out. I stood there crying, I started to cry hard until I felt Semaje grab my hand and walked me outside. I cried on her shoulder, making her pink shirt wet. What just happened? Why does all the bad things have to happen to me? Those thoughts kept running through my head.
