"Where is (Y/N)? I've told her a week ago that she would be apart of setting this up." The lunarian crossed his arms as he scanned the room, hoping to find you present during this busy day.
"I don't think she's left her quarters, King." He snapped his head to one of the workers and glared down at him.
"What do you mean she hasn't left her quarters?" Irritation oozed from his voice as he didn't break eye contact with the man.
With a gulp, he shakily pointed at Ulti.
"T-That's what we were told at least..."
"Ulti! What is this about (Y/N) still in her quarters?"
"Yeah, she's not feeling too well."
"Well that's too bad. Get her now."
"You get her." He scoffed and pushed passed the Tobiroppo, making his way to the far room that had been your private quarters.
As he approached the tall door, he knocked on it and waited for a response. Nothing but silence.
"(Y/N), it's me." He knocked once more. Nothing. He quickly looked around then softly asked, "Are you alright?" Footsteps were heard and it were just two henchmen carrying wood, looking at him. He cleared his throat and glared at them, causing them to walk faster to their destination. With a sigh, he leaned to the door and whispered.
"I'm coming in." Slowly opening the door, the first thing he noticed was the scent of tea in your room. It had been dark though, it would seem like you had never left your bed.
"(Y/N)?" He closed the door behind him, locking it to make sure no one bursted in for whatever reason.
Your body shuffled about, eventually sitting up and looking at him.
"King?" He saw your tear stained cheeks and puffy eyes, making him hurriedly make his way over to you.
"What is wrong? Did something happened?" You grabbed his hand and smiled.
"I just don't feel too well."
"Does it hurt that bad? What exactly is wrong."
"I just... I have my monthly and I'm not feeling swell right now."
"Again?" You looked up at him and gave an empty chuckle.
"Yeah. I had it last month and now this month."
"I'm sorry. I don't remember it being this bad last time. Is there anything I could do for you?" You sniffled and let go of his hand to turn your lamp on. He still kept his mask on and you wanted to change that.
"What I wanted to ask may seem impossible."
"I'll try to make it happen."
"You're too good to me... Would you just stay for 5 minutes and lay with me?"
"Oh, (Y/N), it's a busy day today. I can't right now, it just started and I have to make preparations-"
"I know. Im sorry I asked..." You started to cry from feeling many emotions. It made the big bad King very soft and he didn't know what to do. He indeed had to get everything prepared for the party tonight and if you weren't feeling good, he may have to think of someone else to do your job. He wouldn't force you to do anything; You were someone who could kill another human being in front of this man's eyes and he would say he didn't see a damned thing.
"Only 5 minutes. No more." You nodded and watched as he removed his mask as well.
A smile appeared as he wiped your tears away, laying beside you and bringing you to his chest.
"Do you think you will feel better soon?"
"I sure hope so."
"Well, hopefully you'll feel well enough to at least enjoy the party tonight."
"I'd probably just stick by your side the whole time if I were there."
"Like you usually do." You looked up at him and placed your hand on his face. He looked at you and gave a small smile.
"You're so handsome. It's a shame you have to hide it." He kissed your hand and closed his eyes. Butterflies fluttered about and your head felt fuzzy.
You felt on top of the world having King by your side. He was strong, intimidating and very intelligent; And with you... he had been the most romantic, sweetest, most caring man.
Something as small as you feeling emotionally shitty and having menstrual cramps, it made him soft and caring. There was no doubt that you received special treatment from him but you never tried to abuse it. You worked just as hard as everyone else and carried your own weight.
As long as Kaidou didn't have a problem with how King acted toward you, there weren't any problems.
"Are you okay?" You snapped out of your thoughts and smiled at him.
"You've made me feel love I never thought I would feel. I was just thinking about how lucky I am to have someone as wonderful as you in my life." All of this had been very new to him and there had been a lot of firsts for him as well.
"I feel the same, (Y/N)." You leaned over and kissed his lips. His body froze for a moment but then he quickly returned the kiss, a bit rougher. His hand rested on your lower back, making you scream mentally.
Pulling away, you saw the slightest pink on his cheeks.
"It's been 6 minutes, King." Him being very precise, scrambled up and immediately placed his mask back on. He straightened himself out before looking at you once more.
"Rest and try to come to the party. Kaidou will also be upset if he sees you are absent."
"Okay." You smiled and waved at him.
He nodded and exited your room without another word.

As the party was at its peak, Kaidou took a giant gulp from his gourd and looked at King.
"You spoil her." Kings gaze went from you to Kaidou.
"Everything had been done in a timely manner. She wasn't really needed after all." Kaidou laughed and placed the gourd on the floor between King and himself.
"I could only imagine the looks on the entertainments faces when they saw you and not (Y/N)." Referring to the women that were now all over Orochi, if not, being grabbed by him.
"They were terrified." Kaidou bursted out laughing, taking another swig from his alcohol.
"Would you look at that." Kaidou looked to where King had been looking and saw Orochi calling for you. Kaidou loved when you rejected Orochi. There had been no obligation for you to be kind to him nor allow him to flirt or touch you.
"Wonder what she'll do this time." King remained silent and just watched.
The swarm of women surrounding Orochi made it hard for him to touch you so you took advantage and used your devil fruit to fly up to where King and Kaidou had been. His eyes followed your form as it soon landed on King, who had already been glaring at the man. He jumped a bit before turning his attention back to the women he did have.
"That man is crazy." You sighed, sitting at the corner close to Queen and Jack.
"You didn't wanna cuddle with him?" Queen teased.
"I'd rather kill myself in the most painful way possible." He burst out laughing as you took a sip from your alcohol.
"He can also, kill himself trying! Ahahaha!" He laughed out as he pointed over his shoulder to King.
It wasn't too much of a secret to the All Stars and Tobiroppo that King and yourself had been an item, hell, even Orochi knew. However, no one else knew. Jack couldn't care less, as long as you got your job done. Queen didn't care either although he did used to flirt with you (with no luck) but now that stopped since it'd be all for fun.
"Hey, I wanna know." Queens voice had gotten low. "You're like, this small and he's like that big so... how do you guys even, you know, do it." Your face turned a deep shade of red, gasping at his question. Jack rolled his eyes and looked down at the party below him.
"T-That's highly inappropriate, Queen!"
"Hey! I'm just asking! You don't gotta answer!" He put his hands up in a defensive manner. You looked over your shoulder to King, who had been talking with Kaidou.
"That's none of your concern. Now, if you'll excuse me." You removed yourself from where you had been resting and walked off to your room.
That had been too much excitement for the night.
As you returned, you sighed and started changing your clothes.
All you wanted was rest, even though you did little to nothing today.
Right when you were about to lay in bed, you saw a single rose with a black feather next to it. A giggle escaped your lips as you smiled, picking it up and sniffing it.
"Oh, King. You're just the sweetest..."
