"Rosinante, welcome back!" Ah yes. His little slice of heaven.
Living a double life was absolutely dangerous and hard on Corazon but he unintentionally made it happened and thankfully, it's been working out.
"(Y/N). I've missed you so much." He embraced you and closed his eyes, missing your touch and scent.
"It's been quite some time but I'm glad you're here now." You pulled away and gave him the sweetest smile he had ever experienced.
"I'm sorry for leaving you alone all this time." His eyes shifted a bit on your stomach and placed his hand on it.
"I understand. Please don't apologize." He felt so terrible having to leave you but you never had felt the slightest bit of remorse for your decision of staying around this whole time. You were still happy.
"Have you been well? Taking care of yourself?"
"Of course." You grabbed his hand and took him into the kitchen were you brought him to a seat and served him some food.
"Eat up please."
"I... I can't stay too long."
"Oh." Although you did feel sad when he had to go, you were still happy to know he would visit and be safe.
"Will you eat before you go at least?" He smiled at you before nodding and digging in at the delicious meal you've prepared.
"Nothing beats your cooking, (Y/N). I've missed it so much." You giggled and placed a small bento box on the table. He smiled and looked at you.
"Is that for Law?" You nodded, sitting across from him.
"How is he doing?"
"He's... he's fine. He had asked about you the other day." You brightened up and smiled.
"Did he now? I wish I were able to spend more time with him. It's a shame we only crossed paths twice."
"It is. I'm sorry."
"Enough with your apologies! Now, eat up and get going. I'm sure he's waiting for you." Your supportive behavior made him feel so lucky to have you in his life.
