"I don't want you leaving me again."
"It won't be for long, I promise."
"The last time you told me that, you were gone for almost a month." You glared at the older man and held your ground. He didn't know what to do. Of course, work is work so he will have to end up going but he knew you would be very upset about it.

"How about this. When I come back, we'll do whatever you want. No matter what it is." You glanced over at him before looking away and thinking about his offer. He remained quiet in hopes that you would agree and spare him the silent treatment when he returned from his mission.

"Fine."
"That's my girl." He pulled you in for a tight hug and chuckled. A small smile appeared on your face as you hugged back.

"Try not to be too long."
"I can't make any promises."
"Just say it for the sake of saying it, please?" He pulled away and looked down at you.

"I'll try not to be too long."
"Thank you. Now then," You fixed your clothes and then his, straightening up his tie and dusting off his shirt.

"I'll be on my way, as should you. I look forward to seeing you back so we can spend the whole day together!" He knew he would regret the proposition but if it made you happy and not angry at him, he'd deal with whatever you had in store for the two of you upon his return.

"Don't miss any detail." You quickly pecked his cheek and walked off as he watched lovingly at your form.

"I don't know how you could handle a young lady like that. They're all so whiny, needy and difficult." Garp chuckled and looked over his shoulder at the man wearing his infamous deep red suit, bearing a cigar in the corner of his mouth.

"If you're jealous just say that."
"I heard everything that went down just now and you expect me to be jealous?" Garp laughed as he turned to Akainu.

"She's gorgeous, tolerant of me and she cooks god damned well. Her love is all I need and when you find someone to give you all that and more, then come talking to me." Akainu scoffed, walking away from his comrade.

"No matter how old we get, jealousy never dies. It only gets uglier." With one last chuckle, he boarded the ship and proceeded in starting his new mission.
