"You grow more and more beautiful every day." Visenya closed her book and smiled up at Xanner. He stood in front of her, blocking the sunlight. "I have been looking for you."
"Well, you have found me." She placed her book on the ground and stood up. "Was it something important?"
"Oh yes, the most important of all." Xanner moved closer, wrapping his arms around her waist and drawing her close to his body. He lowered his head, breathing against her lips. "I missed you."
Visenya smiled into the kiss, giving herself over to him. She had missed him as well. Visenya and Xanner had not seen each other for the past two days, which was unusual for them. They had seen each other at least once a day since they had started courting. Since Visenya had found out about Rhaegon and Jaehaera she had been more preoccupied with making her cousin and friend feel better. Visenya had also spoken to her father and even her brother Baelon. She knew that Baelon had convinced Jaehaera to allow a courtship between them. She knew that Jaehaera and Baelon were not in love, but at least her friend was smiling a bit more now. Baelon had been extremely attentive to the shy girl, making every woman melt every time they saw them together. Now that her friend was doing a bit better, and had Baelon to help her, Visenya had decided to take some time for herself. She was happy to see Xanner once more, she could not help but smile every time she saw him. He brought her happiness and peace, they matched well together.
"I have missed you as well." She kissed him once more. "I'm sorry to have been absent."
"Are you going to tell me why?" Xanner caressed her face, running his thumb over her bottom lip. "I know something happened. You were seen flying away on Tessarion two days ago and no one can say when you returned, but I know it was very late. And even now you still look a bit sad."
