„If you want to find me... you will need more than clues."

In the narrow street of the night town, only tense steps could be heard. The owner of those steps was probably in a hurry to get somewhere. And to make the situation even worse, dark clouds were gathering over the city. And soon enough first droplets of rain were falling on some stranger.

„ Oh, come on! Rain? Now? If only I listened and took the umbrella, I wouldn't have to get wet," murmured the unknown man to himself.

In that moment a mysterious figure appeared from behind him. They were probably coming from some party or maybe a ball, judging by their formal attire. One was supposed to be held only a few blocks from there, so it would make sense. But that isn't important right now.

„Pardon me for my insolence, but did you say you need an umbrella? I happen to have two with myself, so I could lend you one," said the mysterious figure with a kind smile.

Although the man didn't like the situation he found himself in even a little bit, it wasn't like he had much of a choice. The weather changed itself from light rain to a heavy downpour, so he accepted the offer with a nod.

The figure gave him the second umbrella and she herself started opening hers—a beauty with crimson roses on the sides. After some time of walking with umbrellas above their heads, the mysterious one tried to start a conversation.

„And what is a man like you doing in such streets at late night?"

„You know, normally I would already be at home, but some work problems made me stay at work longer than I usually would have," that really is an unpleasant situation no one wants to find themselves in. Nobody wants to stay at work more than they have to and get home late at night or at an extremely early morning, whichever one you prefer more.

„That's sad. Well at least I hope you'll get home safely and without any complications," the one who would watch more throughtfully would notice the smile on the mysterious figures face did not reach his eyes; they looked cold or should i rather say, devoid of emotion?

„Me too. Come to think of it, I haven't introduced myself. My name is Karl... Karl Erins, and yours?"

„Nice to meet you, mister Erins. I do not give my name to strangers, but I can tell you my nickname instead. People tend to call me Carmin."

Droplets of rain and everything that came in their way could be heard during an idle chatter between two individuals. And if you tried hard enough, you'd also be able to hear the quiet sound of the wind and two pairs of shoes hitting the road.

And if from those two pairs only one could be heard at the end. Well, that is a question; you must find the answer for yourself.
