Dylan's POV:

I drove up to the school that I mapped out last weekend. I just moved here with my pack, the Dark Blood Pack, and I had already gotten everything I needed. I memorized the whole building just incase.

I walked inside of the building and a mesmerizing scent entered my nose. I breathed in deeply, and followed it to a crowd of people. I looked over just when a dude punched a girl in the face. She fell to the ground, but nothing was heard from her. Then I realized that girl was the one the scent belonged to. And that scent is now the only thing keeping me alive.

I snapped out of my thoughts as I saw the girl known as my mate, slowly rise from the ground. Everyone backed away, as if knowing what she was about to do. The guy that punched my mate cowered away from her as she now stood at her full height. Right as I thought the guy was gonna get away, she punched him right in the nose. I could tell she used little to no force at all, but she still knocked the guy out. What I'm guessing are his buddies, they came and took him to the nurse.

By the time they were out of sight, the bell for class to start rang. As everyone left the hall, I walked up to the mystery girl. My nose came up to about her lips, and I heard her gasp to how close we are. I guess she was daydreaming.

"Would you like to show me around the school? I'm new here, and I have absolutely no idea where to go," I lied easily. Truth be told, I just wanted to spend time with her. Hell, I don't even know her name!! I bet it's something beautiful. Now that I think about it, I can only see her lips that have 2 lip rings, one on each side. It looks kinda cute, how she started playing with them absentmindedly.

"By the way, my name's Dylan," I said, as soon as I broke out of my thoughts. I saw her shiver as I said my name, and I was very tempted to do it again, just to see her shiver.

"Dylan, I like it," I heard her mumble thanks to my wolf hearing. Hearing her say that made me blush, and shiver as well. I'd kill to hear her say my name again.

I saw her lips turn into a tiny smirk as she saw me shiver and blush. "Hi. The name's-" she was cut off by the bell, signaling the end of first period. I internally groaned, but made sure not to show it on the outside. "Give me your schedule," her voice was as sweet as candy. I loved it. I handed her my schedule and our hands touched by accident. We both froze, and when I tried to pull my hand away, she gripped it incredibly tight.

"O-ow. You're hurting me," I said with pain lacing my voice. She immediately let go, with the paper still in her hand. Her lips curved down in a frown, telling me that she was feeling guilty for hurting me. I felt the need to hug her, but I resisted.

Then she told me that we have every class together, and gently grabbed my hand before laying down her skateboard, that I didn't realize she had, and began skating down the hall way with me beside her. She did these cool tricks on her board before we reached the classroom. She skated in and let go of my hand as she continued down an aisle before stopping at the back corner of the classroom, next to the window. Since this was Science, we were seated in pairs. I just hoped my mate didn't have one yet.

The teacher walked in just as the bell rang, and told the class of like, 17 students that I was a new student. I introduced myself, but only looked at my mate the whole time. I told the class that I was friends with her, and they all looked shocked.

"You mean Violet?" The teacher asked. So that's her name. The teacher, Mrs. Stewarts, began telling me that I should hang out with the Barbies, but I just, as nicely as possible, told her that I would hang out with whomever I please. Then I made my way over to the empty seat by Violet. God I love that name already.

I glared at the teacher when she tried to start class, but all I wanted was to get to know my mate. She quickly changed her mind when she saw my stare down.

"Why don't you take off your hood?" I asked Violet. Just as she was about to answer, someone else did. "Because she's too ugly, that's why. Come sit with us. That bitch will only make you an outsider. Sit with us pretty girls," a girl I recognized as Victoria, since Mrs. Stewarts pointed her out to me, said with a smirk on her cake packed face. I laughed as she said that, shocking both of them. "I have a few things to say to you, 'pretty girl'. 1, Violet is not a bitch. 2, I don't care if it makes me an 'outsider'. 3, she is a hell lot more beautiful than you are. Or ever will be. Now leave. Me. Alone," I growled at the Barbie bitch. She huffed and walked away back to Ken barbie bitch. A.K.A, the guy that Violet knocked out.

I turned around to face Violet, and saw her smiling softly. Then she inhaled deeply, as if knowing I'm a werewolf. She probably does by how I growled. Then suddenly, her hands shot out and gripped my waist, since I stood up in my rant to Ms. Barbie.

I gasped as she yanked me down on her lap and buried her face in my neck. I was straddling her, with my legs wrapped around her, in the middle of class. "Mine," she growled out. I was confused right now. She doesn't have the scent of a wolf, but yet not of a human. What the hell was she?

What really is Violet? If she's not a human or werewolf, then what?
