Cole's Pov:

After Lloyd had calmed down Cole continued to guide the Prince to the Lightning Kingdom. His Kingdom. What was he thinking? It was too late now to kidnap him, seeing as how they had Lloyd, but could he really be trusted? Cole thought back to what the Prince had said earlier.

Lloyd got tired and Cole ended up carrying his sleepy body.

"So, are we getting any closer", the Prince asked.

"Almost there."

When they had arrived Jay was pacing back and forth, looking as if he was contemplating something.

"It'll be fine Jay, Cole's got this. Right? Aw fuck it!" Jay began to walk towards him, and stopped upon seeing him.

"Cole! You're back already? Who's the kid and- 'Gasp'" Jay cut himself off and blasted the Fire Prince with his lightning.

The Fire Prince jolted for a second.

"Cole? I thought your name was Aaron, were you sent to spy on me?" He sounded hurt, staring in my eyes for a second. I couldn't help but look away.

"Don't worry Cole, I got this!" Jay blasted at the Prince again, but this time he dogged.

"Look I'm not here to hurt you, I came to make peace!"

"A likely story!"

Suddenly Jay was pushed back into a tree by what looked to be water.

"Stay away from my brother, you kidnapper!" The Water Princess jumped down to reveal herself.

"Nya what are you doing here!?"

"I followed you, duh!" She sent another blast at Jay, then me, however I dogged. I set Lloyd down, careful not to wake him, then helped Jay up.

"Nya, go home, I'm fine!"

While she was distracted Jay sent a blast at her, pushing her into her brother.

"I'm not the kidnapper, your brother was holding Cole captive!" Jay sends a blast, but misses.

"BREAK IT UP YOU TWO!" The Prince of Fire was now glowing with red.

His whole body was covered in fire. This was the side I didn't like. Maybe he was a heartless monster. He calmed down, taking a deep breath, and letting the fire wash away.

"I snuck out." He lets a deep breath escape his lungs, then continues.

"I met Aaron, or Cole, and asked for his help to get here." He then turns to Jay.

"I did come to make peace, but it seems you had other plans." He glances at me, and I can't help but feel a little low.

He turns back to the Princess.

"Nya, go home. I can't follow through with the marriage, but you need to go back."

She lets go of her brother's hands and walks over to Jay.

"Fine, but if you even dare to touch him you won't live till tomorrow."

Jay awkwardly laughs as the Princess's figure fades into the forest. His face then gets serious, looking at me.

"Do you trust he has good intentions?" All I can do is nod, as I pick up the still sleeping Lloyd.

"Then I will take you to my father, but if you ever try to leave my sight, well I guess I'll see your sister soon."

I tried to keep my head forward, but noticed the Prince of Fire still glancing at me. He was still somber, and still looked confused. His puppy dog eyes struck my soul, I couldn't help but feel ashamed.

You did what you had to do, stop letting your emotions get in the way, he's the enemy.

But my heart still flutters every time I stare into his amber, fire-y eyes.
