Lost

Kai's Pov:

When we awoke to Cole's sleep face next to him all he wanted to do was go back to sleep. It was so calming, his hair like a dark cloud for him to sleep in.

A loud bang could be heard from the throne room.

Kai got up and ran to see what the commotion was, only to see Nya struggling with five Obsidian guards holding her down.

"LET ME GO!" Nya screamed, then pushed them all off with her water powers.

"What's going on!" Cole was now beside him, wide awake.

Zane was fighting a few guards himself, but with a spear. Kai jumped into the commotion as Cole stayed with a scared Lloyd. He soon found himself near Jay, fighting alongside him, back to back. They blasted a few guards, but it wasn't enough. Pixel pulled a few guards away from where Cole was.

"Zane, use your ice powers!" Jay screamed.

"I don't know how!" Zane yelled back.

Kai felt a few guards on him, but when he went to blast them his powers failed. He moved around, struggling to get lose. Why were his powers failing? Then he saw it. Vengestone, able to block elemental power.

"Guys be careful, they have vengestone!"

He couldn't do anything as he saw them grab Nya and Jay. He felt so powerless.

"As for you guys, stay out of the way of the Obsidian King, unless you want to end up like the Lightning Kingdom", a guard spoke.

Cole's Pov:

He saw Kai being dragged away, and something snapped in him. He ran to Kai, but was stopped by Pixel.

"We can't. We must think of a new plan now, and if we lose you we may never end this war, plus-" She turned to look at Lloyd who was crying.

Cole ran to hug Lloyd.

"Hey kid, I'm here, I'm here. We'll get him back." Lloyd lets go of Cole to look at him.

"Promise?"

"Promise."
