Lily's POV
I ran out of the forest, getting my way to that town. I climbed the big metal wall and jumped from house to house, searching for Ted or Audrey. I kept searching for them for minutes and still nothing, until I saw Ted's bike outside, that must be his house!
I climbed the stairs to his room and he was writing something looking sad.
"Ted!!" I said and he immediately looked at me with terror in his eyes, he immediately picked me up and put him on a basket of clean blankets.
"Ted? You heard that?" A female voice said coming from downstairs.
"Uh, nothing Mom!" Ted said and then looked at me.
" What are you doing here?!" He said whispering.
"I waited for you and Audrey for an eternity!" I said.
"Shh! Not so loud! You shouldn't be here by now, I sent you that letter to warn you" Ted said.
" I told you, I won't leave without my mommy and daddy! >:c" I said and got out of the basket.
"Lily, seriously, you have to listen to me. You can't stay in the forest anymore, take the pack away with you" He said.
"B-but, you said you would help me" I said feeling sad.
"Ugh, Lily that's exactly what I'm trying to do" Ted said now sounding sad too.
"You promised!" I said.
"The mayor now knows about the wolves and wants to completely destroy the forest, including the wolves. You have to leave! Please!" Ted said.
I felt terrible, he promised he and Audrey would help me find my parents, and now they can't because that mayor wants to destroy my home! I was starting to cry.
"....Fine! I don't need you!" I said upset but sad and ran out of his window after he looked at me tearing up.
Minutes later, I was eating marshmallows still crying, that always helps me to calm down, but that only works when daddy gives me marshmallows. 😞 As I was walking in the town I saw a lot of townies walking to the opposite direction I was walking in, in that, I started hearing people talking.
"I heard he got wolves!" A kid said running.
"I heard they're beasts! Much bigger than a wolf!" A woman said.....the only wolves bigger than a regular wolf are....my mommy and daddy.
"Mommy....Daddy?" I said to myself, still listening to the townies.
"Wow, that will be a big show to enjoy!" A guy said.
"The mayor will probably kill them!" An old man said and I gasped terrified but I got mad, they did capture them! >:c
"Mommy! Daddy! >:c" I said growling and started running with my hands and legs like a wolf. I heard people gasping on how I was running, but the only thing I cared about was my parents.
Ted's POV
I feel terrible, Lily was so sad and angry. Of course, we broke the promise but I couldn't let her get hurt and I know her parents don't want that either. Suddenly, my mom opened my room's door.
"Ted, come on, we have to go to the mayor 's big announcement in the park" she said.
"Yes....Mom" I said trying to sound calm and follow her downstairs.
While we were walking to the park, I saw Audrey also sad, she knew what I did and even if it was the right thing to do, she was still sad about Lily.... I didn't want her to be sad. When we got close the park I saw a big cage covered in a big curtain.....Oh no, I know that cage.....Lily's parents. 😰
