After the event that happened with Lily, everyone in the town was worried and scared about Lily's warning so the mayor sent them back to their houses, just to keep them "safe". Meanwhile, Mike with his bitten armed bandaged was sent to kill the wolves in the cage, but Audrey and Ted tried to reason with him.
"Mike, you can't kill them!" Audrey said to him.
"Audrey, the mayor wanted that and I have to do what he says" Mike said getting his weapon out.
"He is wrong Mike, wolves are not dangerous! You always said that wolves were cool and they needed to be protected!" Audrey said.
"I said that when I was a kid, also, I said that before that wolf bit me!" Mike said pointing at Onceler who just grunted at him.
" He was just protecting his daughter, those wolves are her parents" Ted defended.
"Oh come on! Wolves as the parents of a girl?! That's impossible. Ugh, just go there and let me. Finish with them" Mike said.
"But Mike-" Audrey talked but then Mike looked at her upset.
"Audrey! Enough, just stop ok?!" Mike said and Audrey went silent tearing up. Audrey walked away crying, the wolves saw her crying and felt pretty bad for her.
The wolves looked back at Mike angry and grunting, who was preparing the gun to kill them.
Audrey and Ted were so sad, but then realized that they were Wolfwalkers too, and the Wolfwalkers always help each other no matter what.
Mike was now pointing at the wolves but then Audrey and Ted came in front of the cage, protecting the wolves.
"Audrey, what are you doing? I told you to stop" Mike said.
" Mike you are wrong, all of this is wrong! We have to let them free" Audrey said upset now.
"Audrey have you lost your mind?! Wolves will come here!" Mike said.
"But we can stop them! Those wolves just have to go back to their home and the pack of wolves won't come here!" Ted said.
"We both are tired of hiding and letting the mayor hurt innocent animals, we are tired of living here, this is not the paradise! This is just....just....a cage!!" Audrey said angrily and Mike was shocked but then heard people running away as the alarms of the village went on. When Mike looked back at Ted and Audrey, the wolves were free, looking at him grunting and Ted and Audrey were on them. Mike got scared and shocked.
"I'm so sorry big brother" Audrey said.
"Tell my family that I won't go back" Ted said. The wolves started running away.
"Audrey!!" Mike yelled and tried to follow them.
The mayor was in his limousine when he heard the wolves.
"What the?" O'Hare said and the wolves jumped over the limousine and kept running.
"How did they?! Shit! Don't let them get away!!" O'Hare said and the bodyguards started following them.
"We tried to stop her, but we failed" Ted talked to the wolves as they were running.
" If she gets here, she is going to get herself killed" Audrey said worried too.
The two wolves looked at them worried and run faster. Everyone was running scared as the wolves were running around the village. Suddenly the bodyguards from the fabric were in a big building with their guns pointing at them.
"Oh no, careful!" Ted said. The two wolves saw the bodyguards and started shooting at them. The wolves dodged every bullet and jump to one of the house's roof, and jumped to them, they all ran away scared as the wolves got on the Thneedville sign, and it fell to the other side. They were now outside the town and kept running to the forest.
In front of the rock wall, Lily was howling as the wolves got in their positions. The Lorax was there too, he was worried about the decision Lily was taking of causing another war.
"*talking to the wolves* It's time for us to attack those townies! Let's eat them all" Lily said angry and looked to the village far away with some tears in her eyes.
"They have MY-" She spoked but she gasped as the two wolves with Audrey and Ted on them got in front of her. They looked at the child worried.
"Mommy...Daddy?" Lily said getting down of a rock. The wolves let the kids get down and then they walked a little and they were making sad dog noises, looking at their daughter with teary eyes.
"Mommy...Daddy 🥹" Lily said happy.
Lily and the wolves walked slowly to each other, then happily ran and hugged each other after so long.

"Mommy, Daddy, you are back!" Lily said hugging them both as the two wolves were cuddling her.
"Oh Lily" Rose said and she and Onceler were chuckling happily and tearing up too.
"We thought we would never see you again" Onceler said as Lily hugged him too.
"Until they freed us" Rose said looking at Audrey and Ted and Lily looked forward them surprised.
The two friends walked close to the wolves and Lily.

"Lily, we are so sorry, we were only trying to keep you safe" Audrey said sad and Lily looked a little mad.
"Believe us, we tried to help. I-I didn't know what to do.... I was.....scared" Ted said and Lily rolled her eyes and turn around and fold her arms.
"We are sorry Lily 😞" Ted said and Rose looked at Lily and nuzzled her head, to reason with her, since of course, she also had to forgive in the past. Lily sighed defeated, she took a deep breath and looked at the two friends sad looking away. She then smiled.
"Oh come here you townies" Lily said hugging them. Ted and Audrey got happy and hugged her back.
Everyone was happy, the wolves behind were making happy noises and Rosemary and Onceler looked down at the kids happy, while the Lorax joined them too.
"*chuckles* We are not townies anymore Lily" Audrey said and that made Lily laugh.
"Thanks for helping Mommy and Daddy" Lily said and the three friends laughed.
