Chapter 2: Basic Training

After 2 hours the rest of the group join the room and it's a mixture of dogs and humans in this group and they're all wearing the same suits that Nick wears and Sam spoke

"Hello new recruits I'm your instructor and my name's Sam and I'll train you to be your best that you can be" Sam said as he turned on the screen

"Today's agenda is training for environmental change and adaptability in this you'll be put in a simulation of different types of planets with different types of environments and your goal is to reach a mark, but for order for you to see your mark you'll need a HUD and this is were you get your personal intelligence P.I for short" Sam said as the screen showed on how they'll get their personal intelligence and it looks neat to Nick as he heard about it, but never got the chance to get one

"Alright if you all follow me to room 18 you'll be able to find people who will give you P.I" Sam said as he opened the door and the group followed

Nick looked to his right to see Bluey wagging her tail which made him curious so he asked her a question

"Hey why's your tail wagging?" Nick asked which she looked at him

"Oh I'm very excited to be able to get a P.I I've heard Sam talk about his when I was kid and I always wanted one, but now I'm able to get one!" She said as her voice squeaked with excitement which made Nick smile as it was funny

They eventually made it to the room which was large and there's people in lab coats working with machines and working with lasers and one of them notice Sam

"Oh hello Sam I see you brought some new recruits" the scientist said

"Yup these newbies need some P.Is got time to do that" Sam said

"Yeah just let us finish out experiment and we'll get right to it" the scientist said

Nick got curious about the P.I and he heard Sam has one so he tapped his shoulder which made him turn to look at him

"What's it like to have a P.I?" Nick asked

"Well it's a life saver at times because it tells you how your body is, don't worry I'll tell you on how to use it when you get one" Sam said as he patted Nick's shoulder

After some time the scientists finished their experiment and when to Sam and he spoke to the group the following

"Alright find a table and lay down on them and these guys will do the rest just relax and it'll go smoothly" Sam said as everyone found a table and Nick lays on his table and a scientist came up to him

"Alright Nick I'm going to put you under stasis so I can put the P.I in just count down from ten for me" the scientist said as they put a mask over his face and Nick slowly went under

Nick found himself in a void which made him nervous as he doesn't know where's he's at and he looked around until he sees a door and he went to it and opened it to find a bright light which cought his interest and he walked towards it

Nick found himself in a room which wasn't familiar to him until he sees a man at a desk what to seems to be writing something and he turned to Nick
