Greyson's POV!!!!!!

Hours passed in those woods without either one of us ever realizing it. We sat against a tree looking taking in the scene around us. We were surrounded by many large trees with beautiful and bright colored leaves. A family of deer wandered around the woods eating grass and keeping their distance from us. The deer for some reason reminded me of Daniel; soft, pure, and innocent. Something to be protected not hunted or hurt. Naturally beautiful.

I remembered the first time I saw Daniel freshman year of high school. It was lunch and everyone was outside on the quad eating. I was laying down on the cool grass with my earbuds in trying to drown out the world that I so desperately wanted to escape. I was a completely different person then, the kind of person that I never wanted to be. The kind of person that I'm afraid with each passing second, I'm becoming all over again.

I wasn't a deer. I was more of a rabid wolf. I hated myself and I hated everyone else. Anyone who dared to try to get close to me always got hurt which is why I tried to keep everyone out.

The closest person to me was my best friend Dylan who I'd grown up with since elementary school because our parents were business partners. We both understood what it was like to be nothing more than a business deal between wealthy people. Nothing more than the offspring of parents who used you for their own personal gain. My friendship with Dylan was a business deal. If we stayed friends then when we both inherited our parents companies the companies would stay partnered and the amount of money invested in both would grow exponentially. I hated my parents for that and that was the reason why I even kept Dylan at a distance no matter how many times he tried to get me to open up to him.

I had eventually accepted the fact that I would always be alone. I was in a terribly dark place and things would only get worse but the day I saw Daniel something sparked in me. I remember seeing this guy with chestnut brown hair and startling blue eyes talking to this really blond chic animatedly about something. I took my earbuds out and realized that they were arguing about Harry Potter.

"Malfoy is an incredibly shitty person!" The blonde chick yelled.

"No he isn't Mandy! He is one of the most misunderstood people in the series besides Snape!"

"How so!? How does being an evil little fuckboy make him misunderstood?"

"He only acted like that because he looked up to his father! Sure, he was jealous of Harry but that was only because Harry was everything he wanted to be! Malfoy didn't want to be evil but he didn't want to disappoint his evil family which is why he didn't give Harry away to Bellatrix in Deathly Hallows!"

"You're such a nice ass person Dan! Always giving people the benefit of the doubt." The chick named Mandy yelled jumping over the table and pulling him into a hug so tight it looked excruciating.

I rolled my eyes at them. Nerds, I thought to myself. I continued to watch as Dan peeled her off of him and then sat back grinning. Something inside of me moved at the sight of his smile. I felt something strange in my chest. A strange feeling that would continue to return whenever I was near Daniel. In the beginning, I had no idea what it was but now I think I'm figure it out.

We had stopped kissing ten minutes ago to catch our breath and to give our lips a break. Well, to give his lips a break because right now there was nothing I wanted to do more than tangling my fingers in that soft brown hair of his, pulling him close to me until I could feel his warm body against me, and kissing him gently until I become the only thing he can think about. I wanted to feel his skin against mine, I wanted to hear my name on every breath he took, I wanted to make him look at me and only me, I wanted to claim him for my own and those feelings terrified me.
