Greyson's POV
Tic....tic....tic...the sounds of the clock were driving me insane as I waited in the visiting room for Daniel who would be arriving soon to tell me the plan about how to assist me in getting out of here. It didn't take much for Daniel to convince me that I should fight my way out of here. At this point, I only had one reason to want leave and that was him. But now, I'm feeling skeptical considering that Chris somehow has something to do with all of this.
I broke Chris' nose, what in the world would he possible want to help me with? There had to be some sort of catch to all of it and I'd be damned if I let Chris manipulate Daniel into anything ever again.
I looked up as the doors open and my boyfriend walked in practically glowing. He greeted me with a smile that made my heart flutter but it immediately dropped when I saw Chris walking behind him, fidgeting nervously.
"Absolutely no touching, if you repeat the same situation as last time I will immediately end this visit", the guard stated looking directly between Daniel and I. Daniel blushed and nodded.
It always surprised me how he can be so shy sometimes but at others be completely bold.
"Daniel, mind telling me why he's here?" I said gesturing to Chris.
Before Daniel could speak, Chris jumped in.
"Look, Greyson I'm really sorry about everything that I have done to you and Daniel. I already spoke and apologized to Daniel about it and I realized how fucked up my actions were and I genuinely want to try to fix things between all of us. I thought I could start by helping you get out of jail."
I stared Chris straight in the eyes and he nervously stared back.
"I see that your nose healed nicely." I say smirking.
Daniel looks between the two of us confusedly.
Chris absentmindedly touches his nose. "Yeah, I guess I deserved that huh?"
"You were the one who broke his nose?" Daniel states, completely appalled after putting two and two together.
"Yeah, he punched me after, well, you know-" Chris explains to Daniel.
"Yeah and I'll punch you again if you decide to ever pull the same shit. As a matter of fact, I don't have much to lose right now. I promise you that if you hurt Daniel, I will break out of this jail cell and drown you in a pool of your own blood."
"Yeah, Daniel. I take it back. I don't think I want to help anymore. Your boyfriend is insane and he probably deserves to be here." Chris says, standing up to leave.
Daniel grabs his arm to stop him from leaving. "Chris, I could've went to the police for what you pulled on me at your house."
Chris sighs and sits back down. "Fine."
"Blackmail? Baby, I taught you well." I say smirking at Daniel.
Daniel blushes, averts his eyes from me, and clears his throat.
"So getting back to the matter at hand. Chris is here because his mom is an attorney. I found out when I went to Chris' house to help him come out to his parents. His mom is incredibly sweet and after Chris and I explained your situation to her she is more than happy to help represent you in a court case against your mother." Daniel finishes.
"You want me to take my mother to court?" I ask hesitantly.
"My mother knows some of the best lawyers in the country. She has tons of money at her expense. She is also incredibly manipulative and vindictive. It will be impossible to win in a case against her."
