JK POV
The long-awaited day of moving has finally arrived, and we're all excited! The new house is simply amazing, with a huge space in the front, a spacious kitchen, and even 2 living rooms, one for guests and another one dedicated only to the TV, with a gigantic sofa that could fit about 20 people. There were 10 bedrooms in the house and they all were upstairs. We went up to take a look and decide who would get each one. As for me, it didn't matter much because any room with a bed and a humidifier suits me, I'm a simple man.
While my hyungs were choosing their rooms, I noticed that Jin-hyung stayed in the kitchen, he must be admiring the spacious cabinets and envisioning a thousand recipes he would cook as soon as he could. After some louder arguments between v-min about who would get the first room down the hall, everyone chose their respective rooms, and only two were left at the end of the hallway: one for me and another one for Jin-hyung.
I called him from where I was and when he went upstairs and saw the situation, he let me choose. After all, he has always been caring and let us have the good things first.
"No no no, Jin-hyung, you're older, so you have the right to choose first," I said with an undeniable sense of ethics, and he just laughed, shrugged, and quickly opted for the room on the right, leaving the one on the left for me.
Each of us entered our respective rooms, still impressed by the amount of space.
"Hey, Jin-hyung, I have a bathroom all to myself now," I shouted from the other side, bragging that I could take a shower without waiting in line. "Is that so? Oh wait, I have one too" he replied, not as enthusiastic as me.
I decided to check the bathroom, and when I opened the door, we had a surprise: this was a bathroom-shared room and for our luck, the only one in the house with it. So, In other words, Jin-hyung and I will have to share the bathroom.
We looked at each other, understanding the situation, and burst into laughter because although it might seem like a problem for some people, it wasn't a big inconvenience for us, after all, we've already shared so many things over time. In fact, secretly, I liked the idea. I'm not sure why, but I think this could be a unique opportunity for us to get even closer and get to know each other better.
As the afternoon turned into evening, and night approached, most of the things were unpacked, and there were only a few clothes left to hang, but nothing that couldn't wait until tomorrow to be done.
Suddenly, I heard Jin-hyung's voice calling me, but it seemed to come from outside the room, I came to the hall and there is no one at sight, but the voice keep it calling me, so I realize it was coming from the window, and as I approached it, I realized it was actually a door leading to a charming balcony connecting our rooms.
"Hey Jk, we're lucky! Our rooms are the only ones with a balcony, and look at this view" He exclaimed with enthusiasm, pointing to the lake in front of our room, the sunset reflecting on the water, creating a truly breathtaking sight. I joined him on the balcony, and we spent a few minutes in silence, admiring the beauty of the moment.
Although he was looking at the lake, my attention was entirely focused on him, on how the golden sunlight caressed his fair skin and how his hair danced in the breeze of this new space. "Truly beautiful" I sighed while trying to resist the urgent desire to kiss him under that sunset.
After a few minutes, we returned to our respective rooms. I was organizing my things in the wardrobe when the door to my bathroom opened. "Hey Jk, I arranged the bathroom, left my things on the shelf near my door, so feel free to use the shelves near yours. Oh, I usually take a shower in the morning, so if the noise bothers you, let me know," he said with his usual kindness, but to me, his voice sounded even sweeter than usual.
"It's okay, hyung... no problem" I replied, truly at ease with the situation. In fact, I was loving the opportunity to share this space with him and get even closer. Every moment with Jin-hyung was special, and I knew that living together like this would make us even more intimate.
We went to take a look at the garden near the house when we saw this huge swimming pool nearby the house and not that far from the small lake and we quickly decided to check it out together. One thing led to another, and we decided to have a "pool inauguration party," even though it was just the 7 of us there.
While Jin-hyung prepared some snacks for us, Yoongi-hyung went out to buy some beers. We were having a good time , when hobi-hyung suggested playing volleyball in the pool, even though it was nighttime, we all enthusiastically agreed.
We divided ourselves into 2 teams. Jin-hyung wasn't in the mood for play but he agreed to be our referee. As we swam and played in the water, I couldn't take my eyes off Jin-hyung, who was sitting by the pool, with his feet and legs in the water, having fun as the referee of our "match," holding the beer in a relaxed way.
His presence mesmerized me, and it was at that moment when Jimin threw the volleyball in my direction, hitting me right on the head. I was thrown into the pool and, for a moment, felt a bit disoriented.
Fortunately, Jin-hyung dived in to help me. "Are you okay, Jk?" he asked as he pulled me up, making sure I was fine. With a playful smile, he pretended to take a red card out of his pocket and showed it to Jimin, as if he were giving him a red card in a soccer match.
We all burst into laughter, and I responded to Jin-hyung, "It's okay, hyung. I was distracted and didn't pay attention," blushing a bit because of the mix of emotions he caused in me.
We returned to the match, but my mind was still focused on Jin-hyung. It was as if the details of that night and our special connection were echoing in my mind. After the final match which my team won, we decided to relax on grass close to the pool, enjoying the night breeze and the beautiful view of the lake under the moonlight.
Later that night, as everyone got tired and prepared to sleep, I couldn't contain my excitement and without getting able to close my eyes, I decided to take some fresh air on the balcony of our room.
To my surprise, Jin-hyung was already there, sitting on one of the sofas. I joined him, and we sat there, enjoying each other's comforting presence. It didn't take too long and Jin-hyung sighed and looked in my direction with a sincere gaze, saying, "I'm happy we're here together, JK. This house will be a place full of special memories." his eyes had this sparkle thing going on and I felt a thousand butterflies flying together in my stomach.
With a genuine smile, I nodded and replied, "I'm happy too, hyung. And I believe the best memories are yet to come." His words were in my head and when I finally felt sleepy, lying on my bed, I imagined the countless possibilities that the future held for this place.
