JIN POV
The first rays of sunlight invaded my room, and I realized that morning had arrived. It was difficult to sleep thinking about the two of them in the room next door, especially about what they might be doing.
As usual, I went to take my shower, letting the warm water caress my body and the steam envelop me in tranquility. Upon leaving the bathroom, I felt revitalized and went to change clothes, but then I heard voices on the balcony.
Approaching the door and opening it, I found Mung-te, who was on the phone. I ended up overhearing some of the conversation: "Don't worry mom, I'm at Jungkook's place..Yeah mom I'll come back home today, Sure mom, we'll have a nice dinner together, what do you think?"
As soon as he noticed my presence, he hung up the phone and came to greet me. "Hey, Hyung, good morning! Did you sleep well?" His warm smile and manners were always comforting.
"Good morning! Sorry for interrupting your call. It wasn't my intention...Did you sleep well?" I replied, stepping out onto the balcony.
Chuckling, he commented, "Except for JungKookie snoring all night like a tractor, yes, I slept well."
We had fun together while he imitated Jungkook's loud snoring.
I took the opportunity to ask, "Do you live with your mother?"Mung-te seemed a little shy as he answered, "Oh, well... actually no. My mother has these health issues, and sometimes per month she needs to come to Seoul to see the doctor. On those occasions, she stays with me in the apartment. She arrived home at my place today but saw that I wasn't there, so she called me worried."
I noticed that this was an intimate situation and feeling empathy, I smiled gently at him. "I see. It's good that you can be there to take care of her on those occasions. Family is the more important thing."
He nodded with gratitude. "Yes, it's true. I do my best to support her when she needs it."
We talked a little more about his responsibilities and how he handled this delicate situation. I was impressed by the maturity and care that Mung-te showed towards his family.
I invited him to have breakfast, and he readily accepted. We reached the kitchen, and he immediately started to help me.
"You don't have to help, you're my guest," I smiled at him, pushing him away from the kitchen area.
"Let me help, Hyung, I feel better being useful," he asked politely.
Though I felt a bit embarrassed about keeping a guest busy, I thanked Mung-te for his gesture and allowed him to assist me in preparing breakfast.
As we started preparing the food, I noticed how dedicated and attentive he was.
His willingness to be helpful and take care of those around him was admirable. And while we chatted and prepared breakfast, my mind was still slightly disturbed by thoughts of the incident with Jungkook and Mung-te. No matter how much I tried to ignore it, the memory of their laughter and glances shared while lying on top of each other still echoed in my mind. The jealousy persisted, and I wondered why I felt this way.
Mung-te noticed my slightly distant expression and asked gently, "Hyung, is everything okay?"
I forced a smile and nodded. "Yes, everything's fine. Just a little distracted."
He looked at me sympathetically. "If you want to talk about something, I'm here to listen, hyung."
"It's nothing serious, but thank you for caring," I replied, smiling back.
Mung-te stopped stirring the eggs in the frying pan when he heard a shout coming from the living room, "IF YOU DON'T GET OUT OF MY FUCKING WAY, I'M GONNA PUNCH RIGHT IN THE FACE."
