JIN POV

The week before the trip ended quickly, and Jungkook kept avoiding me.
I couldn't understand the reason behind it. Our interactions used to be so friendly and intimate, but something had changed, and I was growing more and more worried.

I tried talking to the other boys to find out if they knew anything about Jungkook's strange behavior, but they all seemed as confused as I was. After all, it was only with me that he was like this.

All the members were packing their bags for the trip to Jeju, and I was particularly excited since it had been a year since I had been there. I walked downstairs with my suitcase; my shoulder was better, and I could lift weights again. As soon as I entered, I saw the maknaes chatting in the kitchen and didn't make noise trying to peek, I KNOW IT'S WRONG. But I can't help it.

"Is she coming to Jeju with us?" Tae asked, leaning on the kitchen counter.

"Yep! she is, I think it's finally going to happen this time..." Jungkook said as he drank his banana milk.

"oohhh....Naughtyyyyy" Jimin said, hitting the table with his hand.

I felt a presence behind me, and when I looked back, I got startled. Yoongi stood there with his arms crossed, giving me a judgmental look.

"That's not nice... listening to others' conversations in secret..." he uncrossed his arms now and walked past me.

"I wasn't listening... I-I was just, um... passing by here..." I stuttered, feeling embarrassed for getting caught eavesdropping on the younger ones' conversation.

Yoongi rolled his eyes slightly, letting out a sigh. "You don't need to explain a thing to me, but it's good to learn to respect others' privacy, don't you think?"

I nodded quickly, feeling even more embarrassed. It seemed like the universe was conspiring to make me feel ashamed. Yoongi continued on his way to the kitchen, leaving me standing there, feeling awkward.

I sighed and shook my head, trying to shake off the uncomfortable feeling. It was time to focus on what really mattered now: the trip to Jeju. I placed my suitcase next to the others and joined the members in the kitchen.

"So, guys, is everyone excited for the trip?" I asked, trying to divert attention from the awkward moment that had just happened.

Taehyung smiled, his contagious energy filling the room. "Of course! Jeju is always amazing."

Jimin enthusiastically agreed. "I can't wait to enjoy the beach and all the fun activities we've planned, right, Tae?" His voice had a hint of sensuality, as always.

As the other members shared their expectations for the trip, I noticed that Jungkook was quieter than usual. He seemed lost in his own thoughts, and that only heightened my concern.

I decided to address the situation subtly. "Hey, Kookie, you seem a bit distracted. Everything okay?"

He blinked as if he had been snapped out of a reverie. "Oh, yeah, everything's fine."

"If you need to talk, just know that I'm here for you, man," I offered a reassuring smile.

Jungkook returned the smile somewhat forcedly but silently thanked me.

The car that was going to take us to the airport arrived, and we all got excited about the trip, discussing details and making exciting plans for the days to come in Jeju. I hoped that the change of environment might help Jungkook open up and share whatever was bothering him.
