JK POV

As soon as he left the room, I felt the ground disappear beneath my feet. I sat in the computer chair, trying to calm myself down, but my mind wouldn't let me. Everything he said was spinning in spirals, and I felt like I was going crazy.

"Okay? I had so much to say, and all I could think off was 'OK'? If there's one thing I'm not, it's okay," I said indignantly, hitting the computer desk. "He wants me as much as I want him, but he keeps denying it... Doesn't he realize that we're not just bandmates, but human beings too?"

Suddenly, my thoughts were interrupted by a message on my phone.

Jimin ssi: Tae and I are going out for beer, want to join us?

Me: Not in the mood... but thanks...

Jimin ssi: One drink won't hurt, come on, stop being a buzzkill!

Me: I'm not going.

Jimin ssi: Yes, you are. Get ready and meet us in the car in 15 minutes, no excuses. If you don't show up, I'll drag you out of your room.

Me: I HATE you.

Jimin ssi: Love you too ;)

Although I didn't want to go out, I decided to join the guys. Jimin ssi, despite being small, was persistent, and he's capable of causing a scene in my room. I got ready and went to the parking lot. They were already there, leaning against the car, waiting for me.

"Look who's here! The lovely damsel finally arrived! Congratulations, princess, you're 20 minutes late!" Tae said sarcastically, clapping his hands.

"Shut up, I didn't even want to come in the first place!" I muttered under my breath.

"Stop teasing, Tae. Come on, this place is awesome, you guys will love it, it's totally your vibe JK!" Jimin said, pulling me and Tae's hand towards the car.

Despite feeling upset, spending time with them really cheered me up, and even in the car, as we listened to some music and sang off-key on purpose, I managed to forget about the earlier fiasco.

We arrived at the bar, which was indeed different, it looked like a tavern with cool and attractive people. The place had wooden tables and a bar with a Viking-style design. I loved the atmosphere; it really matched my vibe.

We sat at a table in the corner and started drinking.

"Now that we're semi-drunk, can you tell me what's going on?" Tae asked, reaching for the bowl of peanuts on the table and stuffing several into his mouth.

"Nothing's going on..." I tried to play it off as I turned to look for the waiter to order another beer.

"Stop lying! I know you well enough to know when you're not okay," Jimin said, slamming his hand on the table, his once gentle expression now turning to a serious one.

I took a deep breath; I knew I couldn't escape this inquisition. Still reluctant, I started explaining everything that happened, from the accidental kiss during the game to what happened earlier today. They listened attentively.

"So, that's it... it seems he's made up his mind... I think I should give up..." I concluded with a heavy sigh.

"It's complicated, Kookie, but I wouldn't give up if I were you," Tae said, with a mysterious tone in his voice, as if he knew something I didn't.
