JIN POV
A week had passed since I had that conversation with Jungkook in the sauna, and things seemed to be back to normal. We were doing things together without that feeling of tension between us. I could share the same space with him without thinking about touching or kissing him, and I finally felt like I was recovering from what happened.
Our days off are officially over, and we return to our rehearsal routine. It was almost 7 a.m., and most of the members were still getting up. As I'm used to waking up early, I had already showered and went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.
With the help of the housekeeper, I set up some yummys for breakfast. We were going to perform on an American TV show, so I thought we deserve the energy to practice hard and deliver a flawless performance.
Yoongi, Namjoon, and Hobi came downstairs first and were amazed at the table full of delicious food. They sat down and started eating.
"Where are the maknaes?" I asked as I looked for my mug to have some coffee.
"Jk went to practice. V-min are showering together..." Hobi said while stuffing his mouth with a piece of an avocado sandwich.
"TOGETHER?" My eyes widened, and I exclaimed in a startled tone.
"Yeah, hyung. They're dating, so it's normal for them to shower together..." Hobi continued, shrugging as if it was no big deal.
"How do you know they're dating?" I was astonished since I thought I was the only one who knew about this information.
"My room is next to Jimin's room, and I can hear what they do at night..." He said, laughing while imitating the sounds the boys make.
"Yeah, everyone in the house already knows, but since they haven't decided to come out yet, we don't say anything. When the time is right, they'll tell us," Namjoon added, as always eloquent and thoughtful.
The way they handled the situation left me somewhat impacted, and something in the back of my mind suggested that if, maybe, MAYBE, something happened between me and Jungkookie, it wouldn't be as disastrous as I had imagined.
And as soon as I thought about him, he appeared. He walked into the dining area, already taking off his shirt, his whole body sweaty. "Wow, who's this feast for?" he said, pointing at the table with his bright smile, showing his bunny teeth and wrinkling his nose.
"Today is our first day back to work after the days off, and I thought we deserved a good breakfast," I said as I grabbed a plate for him.
"That's WHY you're my favorite hyung," he said, giving me a peck on the cheek. "I'll take a quick shower and come back to eat!" he said happily, patting my butt as he walked away towards his room.
While the guys were playfully teasing him for saying I was his favorite hyung, I felt flattered. Though it was common among us to do such things, hearing him praise me in public made me feel somehow special.
After a few minutes, while we were eating and discussing our expectations for the rehearsal, Taehyung, Jimin, and Jungkook came downstairs. They were laughing and chatting among themselves and, after some "fight" about where each of them would sit, they finally settled down at the table to eat.
"Wow hyung! Did you make this by yourself? It 's delicious!!" Jungkook said with his mouth full, his eyes wide like a bambi.
I nodded and couldn't stop myself from thinking that he looked so cute when he did those adorable things, and took a small sighed at his cuteness.
Amidst the conversations, laughter, and food, we finished breakfast and headed to the vans that would take us to the studio.
Yoongi and I went in the smaller car, while the others took the van. They usually let us both take the car, because it's more comfortable. That's the few moments where being the oldest is good.
