ELYSIA'S POV
It's the day before Christmas. Most of the students are going back to their families but Harry and I decide not to go back to the Dursley. I mean between going back to being mentally abused and staying here in peace, of course, we chose to stay here.
Me and Drace were walking to the Great Hall for lunch. Draco had to stay because of his family's sudden emergency.
"Are you going to celebrate Christmas with your brother?"
I stared blankly at him, "Obviously..."
"Then, what about me? The other went back home too!"
"You can--"
"Nope! Nope! I am not going to celebrate Christmas with your brother."
"Do you want to spend it alone, then?" I rolled my eyes.
"We-- We'll see."
"Suit yourself, Draco., I said as I stepped my foot into the Great Hall, I saw Harry and Ron playing chess and grabbed Dracos's hand, "Oh, look! Let's eat with him!"
"What?!" Draco asked, "No way...!"
"Yeah, sure, sure," I said, still dragging him to the Gryffindor table, "Come on! There are not many people left. No one will notice you were sitting there."
"Everyone notices me no matter when or where I am with this fabulous hair of mine," He sighed in defeat as I walked through the hall with his hand in mine.
"Hi, Harry, Ron!" I called and took a sit next to Harry, Draco sat on my left.
"Hi, Elysia. We're playing wizard chess, want to join?" Ron answered and raised his eyebrow, "What are you doing here, Malfoy?"
"This girl," he pointed at me, "Dragged me here. It would be in your dream for me to be here willingly."
"Yeah, right," Ron mocked, "I'm sure-"
"Knight to E-2," Harry commanded the pieces, ignoring the two. "Oh, hey, Malfoy."
"Uh. hey?" Draco watched Harry, confused.
Ron rolled his eyes and made another move. His Queen knocked down Harry's and now, it's standing in front of Harry's King.
"Ha! Checkmate...!" Ron cheered.
Harry looked at the chess board, sighing and smacking his forehead.
"Seriously?! How did I not see that!?"
"Because you were too focused on checkmating Weasley's King that you didn't notice all his tricks." Draco stated as he pointed at Harry's bishop, "Here. If you moved this one instead, you could have knocked Weasley's Queen."
Harry ran his fingers across his already messy hair, "Arghh!! I suck at this kind of game!"
I laughed and pat his shoulder, "I know."
"El.. you should be on my side!" He faked a sob. Then, he looked at Draco. "I think Malfoy can play the next round with Ron."
"Sounds exciting!" I exclaimed, clapping my hands. "Both of you look very talented."
"Sure, I know for a fact that I am better than Weasley," Draco sneered, "What do you say, Weasley?"
"Fine," Ron scoffed.
Harry move a little to the left and leave an empty spot between him and me to give Draco some space to sit. Draco stood up and sat there while Ron rearranged the chessboard.
Ron started first since he was on the white side. About 10 minutes later, about half of their pieces remained.
As Ron about to make another move a voice called--
"Dracy...!"
We turned our heads to see Pansy with Laura running towards our place. Surprisingly, it was not Pansy who called him, but, Laura.
"Hey, Pansy, Lau-"
"Oh, Dracy," Laura called dramatically. If you asked me, she became more annoying than Pansy when it came to flirting with Draco. "Dracy, why aren't you packing your stuff?"
"I'm not going home," Draco answered shortly.
"Erm- castle to D-4," Ron said awkwardly, signalling Draco to make his move.
"Bishop to B-4."
"Oh, you're playing chess with-" Laura stopped as she saw Ron. She looked at him up and down. "With a blood traitor."
Ron got up from his seat and spat, "Watch your mouth, Langley."
"Ugh!" Laura looked pissed, "Dracy, look-"
"Laura, go away..." Pansy and I said at the same time. I looked at hers, "Come on, Laura, that's not nice."
"Whatever! Suit yourselves." She stuttered, "Pansy, let's go."
"Okay," Pansy sighed as Laura walked out of the Great Hall, "See you guys after Christmas. Bye, Elysia, Draco." When Laura is nowhere to be seen, she spoke again, "You two too, Potter, Weasley. Bye."
"Bye, Pansy." I hugged her, "Write to me when you arrived home."
"Of course!" She nodded her head and waved before leaving.
"Oy, Malfoy!" Ron called, "Your turn."
"Oh, right... Hm," Draco looked back at the chessboard, "King to C-6."
The move knocked Ron's castle. The game continued until it was stopped again by Hermoine.
"Hi, guys," She greeted.
"Hi." I waved my hand at her.
"Ronald, I see you still didn't pack," She stated.
"I see you packed." Ron mocked her, "I change the plan, my parents are going to visit my brother, Charlie."
"Okay, and erm- what are you doing here, Malfoy?"
"Playing chess, can't you see?" Draco rolled his eyes, "Knight to E-3."
Draco's black knight smashed Ron's white pawn, shattering it into pieces.
"That's totally barbaric!" Hermoine shouted.
"That's wizard chess," Ron shrugged, although we can see that he was a little bother that he lost a piece.
"Never see a wizard chess, Granger?" Draco raised an eyebrow at him.
"No..." she muttered, "B-But, it doesn't matter! Ron, since you are here you can help Harry and Elysia on you-know-what."
"Okay," Ron nodded.
"I better get going," She looked at her watch, "Bye, guys."
"Bye." The boys said in unison.
"Bye, Mione," I said and hugged her. She returned my hug and skipped towards the door and disappear from my vision.
"So," Draco spoke as I sat back down, "What is 'you-know-what?'"
I looked at Harry and Ron, hoping for one of them to give the answer because I don't know how to say it.
"Oh," Yes! Good, Harry, answer him, please-- "Nothing."
'Clever, Harry. Very clever.'
Luckily Draco brushed it off by rolling his eyes.
